Transporting resources between planets

Got a question after reading the #2 spotlight: https://fracturedmmo.com/feature-spotlight-2-universe-planets-travels/
What is the main plan to get resources from one plantet to another? You summon a stargate to another planet and gather as much as you can before it closes? Or you summon a 2nd one to get back? Or is there another way to move resources between planets?

@Benseine inventory is quite limited on Fractured, both in terms of space and total weight you can carry. If you want to move a lot of resources, you need animals, carts and vehicles - they can all go through stargates indeed, so that's the way to go.
As for the duration of stargates, they last for quite a long time, but if you don't make it back before it closes and your time on the other planet runs out... well... you're getting back without the resources :slight_smile:

Will you lose all equipment as well?

Do you die if the stargate closes with you on another world? Or are you just forcefully transported back?

@prometheus ok, good to know, but it does sound like you have the option to spawn another to get back. Otherwise the stargates would get camped by the home "team" as soon as it get spotted.

@tulukaruk You dont die instantly, but you can only be in another planet for a certain amount of time. So I'm assuming that if you miss your time with the stargate, it may be too difficult or time consuming to create another one before your time limit is up. And the limit means death. Going to another planet is suppose to be a risk, thats their reasoning behind it
I feel I should point out that gear isnt suppose to be incredibly important. You will go through several sets of gear fairly often.

@miffi is it anywhere said straight that you die when time runs out? I know you have limited time - that's what I was quoting from @Prometheus
Btw. does Demon have time limit or not? Cause from what is written here looks like they are exception from time limit - or am I reading it wrong?

@tulukaruk I cant remember for sure where exactly I read it, but the implication was that you die. Its a risk and if you just get teleported back... well theres no risk then
Demons do have a time limit, but like they said in their journals, there is an event were they are allowed to stay a lot longer on the human planet and they have defend themselves agains the demons

the time you’re allowed to stay on the new planet is limited and varies according to your race, your alignment and your destination. Demons are a notable exception to this rule
would suggest that demons don't have time limit.
