New Race Idea

I think that sounds like a dwarf, i enjoy the idea of play with a dwarf, a character strong and furtive.

I know I'm late to this discussion but I was reading through the wiki and found it quite odd that under human the subclasses were male and female. I'd much rather the class set be called humanoid and include your typical races you see in other games such as dwarf, elf, orc etc... Many people play games such as these and hardcore roleplay. Even if the race does nothing other than just list the difference so be it. You could also have some half races with humans as well because for some reason humans seem to have babies with all the other races, at least in your typical rpgs lol. Tieflings are half demons in D&D for example.
Anyway I just wanted to weigh my two cents in because I would like to see the human category expand a bit

@Meiki This is from the wiki
a tiefling born from a cambion mating with a human) is only 1/4 devil and therefore could be considered more human than most half-elves or half-orcs (things that a human can, in fact, give birth to)
This is from the 5E book
Infernal Bloodline
Tieflings are derived from human bloodlines, and in the broadest possible sense, they still look human. However, their infernal heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance. Tieflings have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes: some have curling horns like a ram, others have straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, and some spiral upward like an antelopes’ horns. They have thick tails, four to five feet long, which lash or coil around their legs when they get upset or nervous. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and their eyes are solid colors—black, red, white, silver, or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tones cover the full range of human coloration, but also include various shades of red. Their hair, cascading down from behind their horns, is usually dark, from black or brown to dark red, blue, or purple. However, I'm sure this description changes from game to game lol.

@VyrVandalous I like the idea of more races being added in the future... Obviously balancing and such things will be a major point to look at.
But surely crafting should be open to anyone... With humans and their body upgrades they will probably be best crafter like someone mentioned here, also being in Central planet makes them initial best choice.
However I don't think that the classic races like elf, orc or dwarf need to be added... These races are from many games and lore. Why have the same thing again?
They can make any type of race they want, why do the same as everyone...
I think what could be cool later is perhaps more quests to change your initial race to something else. At the moment we have:
Human to Lich
Beastmen to Abomination (evil alignment change)
Demon to Angel (good alignment change)6 races already in the game! (11 if you count subraces)

DWARF DWARF HES THE MAN
LETS MAKE DWARFS
I KNOW YOU CAN

@Meiki but they will still just be angel and abomination... Not 3 new races for demon... One new race wirh 3 new racials.

No generic fantasy races like elfs, dwarfs or orcs thank you. And especially if those are not part of the lore, it would just feel contrived solution to add these races in Fractured. I like how Fractured has fresh races like demons, beastmen, abominations, angels and liches. If we will see new races in future, I hope DS continues the line they have chose to take already.

as posted in other threads,
Naga (is my top new race)
Rat
Beholder
basically any of the 'bad guys' from other games that aren't playable!
etc...

@Meiki
Human
Demon
Beastman
Lich
Angel
AbominationIf you split demon into 3 sub races
Hellfire
Shadow
BloodAnd split beastmen into 4 subraces
Chadra
Nheedra
Udoadra
ErwydraSo in total 6 base races
Or 11 if you count sub races
Or 16 if the sub races also get different angels and abominationsBut if we talking strictly how many races I say the number is 6... Demons are a race, they just have 3 types. So count 1 not 3
