What kinda nods or addons would ppl like to see. Im hoping there wont ve alot cause be nice to a tually see players have to play based on there skill.
-
Ideally none.
-
There will always be addons.
Trying to enforce "no addons" in 2018 is hopeless. Your safest bet is to try to make it as easy as possible for everyone to install whatever addons they like, to level the playing field.
-
if there's no api then there's no addons.
-
I hope there's no addons.
-
Yeah, I hope for no add-ons.
-
Depends on what addons you are implying.
I like to customize my UI so those are always welcome.
Mods that auto move items to a bank at welcome too.

if people want to get banned for using non-allowed third party programs they can feel free

@jetah customized UI is nice

@fibs With respect my dude, I've played with enough savages to know that you aren't banning anyone. You might get 1 percent of the dudes who modify their UI/resolution, but... yeah.
Just make it open and easy so EVERYONE can do it, instead of just the computer literate. Level the playing field.

In general, games developed by a primarily English-speaking team are a lot more on the ball about banning than, say, Korean MMOs.
They are both equally stubborn and pigheaded about rationalizing whatever bans they do give out, though! So good luck

@fibs Dark Age of Camelot and Everquest were two of the most modded games I have played in my life, both had bans for it. Almost no one in the entire history of playing was banned in those games. Heck, more people were banned in Project 1999, an emulated server than actual live Everquest for using ShowEQ and EQ Atlas.

@tathren d be interesting to see mods to change the UI... you know... nothong that would actually interfere with gameplay
