Classe / race

Im a little lost in there can someone tell me the different classe to this game and the race ?
-
There are three races (Beastmen, Humans, and Demons) and no classes. Read here for details about this game's classless system.
-
I wanted to be a hobbit demon

@daz Gollum!

And Beastman/Demons have subcategories, namely Chadra (tiger-kin), Udoadra (wolf-kin), Nheedra (bear-kin), Erwydra (hart-kin) for Beastman and Blood demons (vampires), Shadow demons (nightmares) and Hellfire demons (infernals) for Demons.
-
Do not forget that we have also Angles (Redeemed Demons) and Abomintation (Renegade Beastmen)
-
I really hope that all this races are going to be kinda balanced...
-
@nibbio
there is nothing making difference you are the one to set the attributes so if will no be balanced it's just cause of you. I'm wondering if you have red the spotlightsI'm the one that should read it more and more every day. I hope that racials will be balanced somehow. But we can test and give feedback so the devs can balance them before the official release.

There are a lot of differences. Beastmen have their primal forms, demons have their demony buffs. Different subraces have different stat caps and affinity for certain stats, and humans have extra stat points. I believe prometheus also said that they'll have different movements speeds. There's probably going to be survival related stuff we don't know about yet.
Their goal is to make every race feel unique.
-
@target I missed the thing related the move speed wel that could make abit of difference. The buffs are something related to planets. Affinity is something you know and you have to evaluate. So will be totally up to players how they will build up character with attributes and abilities.
There is nothing compared to passive racials or classes, thigs that we don't get in this game. I doubt you will see a race more powerfull than another. The move speed could inpact the comabt that could be.@target I apologize you where right are going to get racials after months I forgot about that. I hope that will be balanced or that we'll be able to give the right feedback to balance those races.

From the Three Races spotlight:
Thanks to their innate affinity with fire, they can easily use any fire-related ability and are able to survive in extremely warm environments.
As further bonus to their battle prowess, their racial bonuses get stronger over the course of a tough battle, setting the thick veins that run through the skin of their bodies afire. It literally calls them racial bonuses. So yes, no classes, but races will certainly have various passive bonuses.
-
@nelchael this means they will suffer or not based on the biome (envirorment) you are going to play. I doubt races will suffer from spells/abilities.
-
@finland Races have unique racials and abilities.
-
@specter Shit I missed it. Time to read again the spotlight XD. Thanks my dear MOD

Fractured has three basic races with a few deviations.
The race chosen determines your initial alignment, which determines your playstyle.
- Beastmen: Good --> Arboreus, PvE-focused. (Beastmen have several distinct races based on different animals.)
- Human: Neutral --> Syndesia, "lawful" PVP
- Demon: Evil --> Tartaros, virtually unrestricted PK
After character creation you will be able to change your alignment (and therefore playstyle) through your actions in the game. If you're not a Human, this can also turn you into a different race.
- Beastmen who become sufficiently Evil are transformed into Abominations. From what I've heard so far, this is treated as a variation of Demon. I don't know if each subrace of Beastman becomes a distinct Abomination or not.
- Demons who become sufficiently Good are transformed into Angels. I don't think we've been given any further information than this.
Fractured has no explicit class system. You create your own class by combining individual skills, spells, perks, etc. as you like.
Only a certain number of skills can be "turned on" at a time. You're able to swap these skills in and out whenever you're in Resting Phase, which basically means you're at a campfire, inn, etc. It's possible to make your own Resting spaces out in the field.
You may be forced to go against your playstyle from time to time if you intend to solo, as you may need to switch to a spell outside your desired "theme" in order to fight a certain enemy or for its environmental effect (freezing a river etc.)

@finland Renegade beastmen sounds super sweet.
-
@mrchipps Renegade beasts are abominations = evil alignment and confined to Tartaros. For sure challanging but less than becoming an angel.
-
No classes, but 3 races.
-
@whoatethecat you have also sub categories so 10 races total
Beastmen:
- Tiger-kin
- Wolf-kin
