Do you have any plans to implement it for mobile?
-
Being able to play on a computer is a point that I admire and love, although lately players are more likely to play mobile games.
Do you have thought about the future to be able to transfer the game for mobile devices?
I love being at home playing but I would also like to play Fractured on the street, it would be something very epic.

@baslak LUCKLY they said that will be PC only

5. ON WHAT PLATFORMS WILL FRACTURED BE AVAILABLE?
The game is being developed for computers running Windows, macOS and Linux. While support for all these three operating systems is planned to be available on full release, it is possible that only Windows support will be available during alpha / beta. Clarifications on this issue will be released when the game approaches its first testing phases.
There is also a thread somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it

i believe the game would eat the battery. some games just dont translate very well to mobile.
-
@jetah the main problem is filter players when you recruit cause you will never be skilled like a pc player ;). So making the game just for PC make it easier.
-
it's possible the skill wont change. just the device and controls. if it's mobile there's a possibility to drop the connection.
-
@jetah no bro keyboard + mouse makes the difference over a pad and especially over a tablet or a silly smartphone. Do not say those things imho. I met many smartphone and tablet players. The device makes too much difference and players results unskilled.
-
I'm not a tech guy, but procedural generation of an mmorpg seems a bit far fetched for a smarthphone or tablet atm.
-
@benseine The map generation isn't done client side. Dynamight is using procedural generation to generate terrain instead of crafting all of it by hand. Even if it was clientside, minecraft has been on mobile for at least 6 years and has more complex terrain than anything Fractured is aiming for.
-
@finland you don't really need a keyboard or mouse if it's a mobile game. the UI is designed so you can tap instead or designed to have a d-pad so movement is done via directional taps.
-
You simply can't be competitive in a game like this on mobile, and I'm glad they've chosen to only design it for PC.
-
@jetah that's why people are cheating on Fortnite mobile by playing on PC with an emulator mostly 100% win rate tho take a look there
-
@finland for that reason I said if in the future even if it is far away, I will never lose hope hahaha

Fractured will not be available on mobile. Prometheus gave an answer to this question
