About the races

there is something i dont quite get in the race system, for example the deamons are supposed to be sort of the "pvp" right? So if they go to some other planet are they seen as enemies or are they seen as any other player character.
Thanks to those who can clarify this for me.

@salgados2 Like the news said something like " you are free to choose the description of your character, players have to know kakavias intentions
-
@salgados2 everyone can be an enemy if outside the guild/alliance but for sure killing players will influence your alignment. Planets have restrinctions for evil alignment. Dev also said that's possible to became a redeemed Demon but will take alot of time.
the main point is the starting planet that got different rules that's why Demon are tagged as PvP. Tartaros will be open pvp full loot lawless but if you redeem your deamon will be allowed to live on Arboreus without restrinctions.
-
@salgados2 If I understand this correctly, Daemons may travel to other worlds to plunder. Something like how Danes made raids into Britain during the IX-th and X-th Centuries. They where generally regarded as plundering marauders, yet there where some locals who chose to trade with them, perhaps gift their way to safety. Now I'm not sure how this will work in game, but perhaps there will be evil aligned human settlements that will not immediately have daemons flagged as enemies. I may have gotten everything wrong though... so don't take it as fact!
-
@darian all races can travel to plunder. It's just supposed to be easier for demons. And I'll try hard to create one of the good demons
-
i'll assume that any race outside of planet origins or alignment are seen as targets you can attack, ie they're always flagged for pvp.
so beast and good humans can freely target evil humans and evil demons on all planets. A beast and good human should be seen as friendly to each other.

@jetah I think that everyone will be able to kill everyone except between guild/alliance mates. Kills will drop your alignment so kill by kill you will will lower your alignment to evil. Killing evil will not lower the alignment. I think it will work in this way. I doubt there will be some kind of race/alignment protection.

Beastmen cannot attack innocents. https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/35/three-races-three-gameplays-a-griefer-s-confession/4

@vengu wondering how they can became evil then

Killing evil unprovoked should lower your alignment as well. Killing a person because you think he's evil isn't a good act!
-
@Vengu, @Finland "Sure they'll be punished differently - Beastmen just can't attack innocents at all, while Demons are assassins by default and there is no punishment for criminal actions on Tartaros." can be read as beastmen will be punished for attacking innocents regardless of their alignment/race. So it would mean they can do it they just aren't allowed to so they will be punished for doing that. Then that would answer @Finland question how they can become evil - easily
The other question is what "innocent" means in this statement
-
@tulukaruk dude please innocents are good alignments and we know that beasts will be punished for killing beasts this means that beasts will be able to kill beasts someway
-
Thank you for your answears, my questions and thoughts were answeared and clarified

You're probably right but... in my opinion evil alignment player that didn't attack anyone yet is just as innocent
-
@tulukaruk you want redeem a demon you can start as neutral and not evil
-
@finland an evil demon showing on Syndesia with the plan to kill everyone he can but didn't hurt anyone yet is innocent if you attack him first
-
@tulukaruk "we need to eradicate the bad grass"
-
So unless your Demon is Redeemed you will always be attackable for everyone - including the good Beastmen?
I'm kind of wondering because (i understand it's for pvpers) as a race they seem to me kind of at a disadvantage already, with their world scarce in resources and having penalties for being on other worlds raiding (where Beastmen gain extra bonuses on top on demon penalty so 1v1 seems futile) and I recall it was mentioned in trasportation paragraph they in fact get the worst possible penalties of all races for being on other planets - just because they can do it more often.Where does their strenght lie?
-
@dlaczemu to let pvers play safely. If you want it to just roll a good align char and play on arboreus. Anyway it's better wait the next week for the pvp vs pve spotlight to understand it better.
