Spending hours (days) designing your character

So, who here likes to spend countless hours (like me) designing his character in character creation screen before actually starting to play it?
Link some of your characters (from other MMOs) on whom you spent hours creating them.
I'll start with my BDO character (Gothix).

This is smashface, my poor baby Warborn from Archeage who's momma hit him in the face with a frying pan.

I don't have picture, it's not this genre, but I spent one hour creating character in Pillars of Eternity. I like it is so deep in there. I usually don't care much about appearance so I mostly skip that part.

@Jahlon His mommas aim must have been top notch to land the frying pen perfectly in between those horns and into the face.
(Hmm, now that I think about it, she could have slammed him with a side of the pan. Easier to get in between those horns.)

I always need ages to decide for the look of my character.
All depends on the possibility the game gives me at character creation.
The look need to fit well to my imagined story of her, because i need to run in that look for long time and nothing is more disapointing, if you play a while and you realize you can‘t get well with your look.

That's why I wish more companies would do with Square did with Final Fantasy XIV:ARR
You could download the character creator days before launch. I spent hours decided if i wanted the highlight on the hair to be grey or red, and if grey what shade.

I love when there is a lot of character customization
I don't spend hours, but I want my character the best !

@Jahlon Yeah BDO did the same, so people were able to play around with their character looks for a long time before game actually launched.

Sometimes I just use the character creator as the first step of designing an actual character I will use elsewhere.

If Fractured released separate character creator before the game release so we could play around that would be amazing.
Could even have some community contests, designing characters.
