IIRC, devs said they plan to let guilds be alignment based. So all races can be in the same guild if players are of the same alignment (for example, all evil).
Though I would prefer guilds not have restrictions on invitations. Personally I prefer full sandbox management, and players deciding who they wish to play with, and how they wish to organize.

Well I mean, if one person from a guild was bad, and did bad things, I think the guild would pay for it honestly. So it's nice to have just alignment restriction.

but you couldn't ever invite a neutral player that plans on becoming holy/evil.

Among many other things, I keep wondering how this will play out. Where do neutral aligned players fit in? Can they be in any guild (good or evil) or only a neutral guild? What happens if a player changes alignment - are they kicked from the guild immediately (by the game) since guilds are alignment based?

we've asked those questions too. I want a sandbox game not a themepark with harsh encoded rules.

@jetah but a sandbox still need to follow the world rules, how can an evil character be in the same guild as the good ?? they are on different worlds, they different set of rules and so on...
IMO different alignment shouldn't be in the same guild. but should be a range of karma, like guild could be in 1000 range karma one player form the other.

@elemesmo2 You can have a mixed guild only on Syndesia but it's restricted by the Planet rules so Only angels, beasts , humans. I suppose that you will be able to party up with every race anyway

They should remove all restriction from Tartaros so all FFA players like you will be happy. Personally if I play a MMORPG i love to see RP features

IMO different alignment shouldn't be in the same guild. but should be a range of karma, like guild could be in 1000 range karma one player form the other.depends on how the evil player displayed their evilness. There are people who are friendly to friends and family but you find out they're murdering all kinds of people. Alignment shouldn't be a rule for guilds. What happens if a guild decided to swap from good to bad? They have to kick everyone out, get to bad then invite everyone back.

@jetah Preferably you already know what your guild alignment is, and how it affects the game. I think it's uncanny someone would ever change the guild alignment.

Humans don’t always make sense. A guild leader change could swap the guild alignment.
I’d prefer to have options than be forced like theme park games.

@jetah same as a player can't change his karma from the best good to the worst evil in a second, same with guilds, leader can't change his mind and go from worst to best, so a guild can change its alignment but it will take time.

As of right now if any member of a guild-including leadership works towards an alignment not designated by the guild then they are removed from said guild.
Whether this alignment is set in a UI and can’t be changed or is set by the founding GM’s alignment we don’t know.

Why not?
It's a free world, players can play how they wish. At least they should be playing how they wish. Switch good to evil and back a 100 times if they want.
