I can say I am not that fond of the or l free to play market. I think just spending money on the game shows the developer you have intent. Then they should feel the need to maintain quality. With free to play with cash shop they can get away with much more, cause hey, you didn't pay for the game.

@jetah true but for you there are thousands more who spend nothing and quit games for reasons of quality.
Then for all those people that quit due to those reasons, their friends leave or people who like to socialize leave due to reduced players. Some people leave due to rumors and or negative hype. The Cascade effect.I was stoked for albion, spent money on it, but once the game stopped feeling alive I just quit playing, and I think a lot of this was due to how the game progressed.

i played AO in alpha or beta and i knew what would happen, i didn't play when the game released.
