Feelings about the game.

Honestly I feel hyped but at the same time I hope they come up with something original and not just carbon copy games like Albion and path of exile. Hopefully as they continue their work we will see tons of originality.
-
@keith9002 It's still too early to talk about anything, since we have not tried even pre Alpha
-
beta will be the time to see how's the game goes.
-
As long as I don't get bored within the first month I'll be happy. I like a game that keeps me invested.

they are creating something pretty unique. the knowledge system alone isn't something i've had in a game.

Only other game I can think of with a knowledge system similar is Project Gorgon, which released on Steam EA maybe 2 months ago, but has been in development for a few years.
Many skills there you don't even train, they just appear as you do stuff out in the world. Half the time I have no idea what I did to unlock a skill.

Agreed that I'll need to wait to see how things play out, but I do find the knowledge system to be pretty unique.
-
interesting!

@kellewic it's orrible that game XD.

Albion fan here. I agree, I'm definitely interested and considering a semi-heavy investment into this game. However, it NEEDS to be distinct from other games in the genre. Take things from games that are doing so much right, Albion (imo) for example, and adapt them (not copy) to Fractured.

the 3 worlds with invasions between them is pretty unique. the knowledge system is pretty unique. no classes, also pretty unique. gear being unlocked (as to skill/class restrictions) is pretty unique. I'd say Fractured has more unique systems than any other single game I know of.

It will be incredible if a lot of players come in, this will explode mate.
-
@rehmius I doubt you will see more than 50players on the screen due collisions. But at the same time I hope that they will remove collisions once we enter cities.

Lots of games on the horizon, this is just another on the list of potentials that happens to be a genre I really enjoy.
