We are the embodiment's of nothingness…Lich, dwelling on the border of Life and Death...Balance...

Power.
Power over time as an atemporal force.
Power over matter as a rotting corpse that refuses to fall.
Power over life as a deathbringer.Its all about power.
And knowledgment (of lichdoom) is power.

Oh woest me, how slow these yonder days till the ides of October do go.
To think at first how grand immortality seemed, only to find the grand scheme of things.
Boredom and strife, existence full of dull-life waiting upon the next chance to play.
Why, oh why, did I pick this lifeline? A grand mistake it was, now set am I into an eternally monotonous stale wearisome duration.
If only I could cry, but to that I am also denied.

The moto of the lich is to leech.
Leech the power and the life essence of others and of the nature to extend own life and grow more powerful.

I think motto is individual and does not depend on class. Every reasonable person chooses his own.
Motto should be short and smart. Like "Let the deed shaw"
For serious and evil Lich it can be "Let the living howl"
For ironic "Don't waste time sleeping"
For necromantic fan "The only thing you need to make friends is a shovel"

Well, I suppose you must either have been a Lich or have known a lich to be able to understand. maybe??
Other than that, its really just sayings that a lich is liable to think and/or say.
