I'm too old for this :-D (or... how a new game made me learn how to record my gaming at age 55)

Damn your eyes, Dynamight, haha, so enthused was I was with the last Alpha test that I went off and learned how to record it. As I predicted before the test week started, I was the one wandering round in circles, but I loved it! I didn't interact with anyone in chat until about day 5 (I'm shy, haha) but when I did they were super friendly and encouraging.
Anyone want to see an old dear's adventures in Fractured it's here:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC75BIKXR2XYvKevLreAIawgNot only am I new to play testing, but I'm new to this type of game, so I suppose in that respect it's not a bad test of interaction with the interface.
[p.s. if you get as far as watching any of the captures, my accent is UK West Country/Dorset. Can't believe it's so strong when I moved to London at 18! I'm now living in Ireland, so hope to confuse it even more ]

p.p.s. to my amazement, someone actually watched and commented on one of my videos. I hope he will join the forum so that you can give him a knowledgeable answer.

@SilverLocust you are not alone.
I am almost a young grasshopper compared to you, but we have much "old" gamer here.
Some of us need to learn new things, some struggle with english (me per example while i try to listen and understand and to speak by myself), some of us to see the young people and how they have no problems to use all these new media - there are so many channel to communicate and all these young people use them as we used to walk to the TV to switch channelsLike your first steps to make records of your first steps in Fractured.
You just need to turn down a bit the ingame sound, your lovely voice is sometimes not that present.

Haha, you smoothie, you, thank you! Yes, I have no idea why there was such a loud crackling sound! I'll have to try and address that next time!

I usually limit an extend of my technology use due to simple aspect of privacy.
Just an example, I have an android TV and there is an app, that, while you are watching something, a notification can pop up on top of screen with a bubble with a message you received on viber or some other messenger.
This seems useful at a first glance, you see the message on TV (without interrupting your movie viewing) and without the need to even pick the phone up, and you can even use voice command (to tv) to do something about a message.
But then... what if someone sends me a naked photo while I'm having guests.
Or... it says... "ah that idiot is in your house again, get rid of him and come to beer here".

@Gothix said in I'm too old for this (or... how a new game made me learn how to record my gaming at age 55):

It's never too late to learn something new!
Perhaps you could try some more interesting titles for your videos to distinguish them from one another!
