  The alpha for Fractured is currently planned for late 2018. No release date has been set yet. Fractured will be buy to play with a cosmetic cash shop and no mandatory subscription. How much the game will cost hasn't been revealed yet.

  Camelot Unchained is implementing something a bit like this, and it's been surprizingly labor intensive for them. It involved a a full-blown architectural rewrite of their ability system to get it to work effectively. It's a neat feature idea, but in practice I suspect this level of abstraction for abilities might be outside the scope of what is intended for Fractured. Would enjoy being proven wrong though.

One thing we're very set on is that floods of hostile creatures and senseless attack spamming are not our thing. In general, our orientation is to have a more "strategic" combat than the average ARPG - mixing the hectic fun of the genre with the tactical depth of the MOBA genre. This on course means fewer enemies and an overall slower pace - but still perfectly suitable for a PoE fan, since you've mentioned it :slight_smile: I am not a POE fan. In fact, I hate that kind of senseless attack spamming so your answer is exactly what I wanted to hear. The whole "spam 1 AOE button over and over" gets old fast.

This gives mobilitybased chars a great deal of power. While using mouse gives you other advantages and possibilities. Too bad you cannot do that on PC. If only we had more devices to control character then only the mice. Like something with more keys maybe... So you could use your left hand on this board with keys - I know! let's name it keysboard... wait that doesn't sound nice - keyboard - that's better. As we don't have those... wait! we have!
