@Shivashanti Most players actually dislikes the full loot system because of the same reasons. Only niche enjoys, some adapt and rest hates. In general, death can be penalized many different ways and still make it meaningful to avoid it. Full loot system is ofc one the worst even it suits okay with games like Fractured. Full loot system itself does not keep the economy running, however, it is typically the item breaking mechanic build to the looting situation which makes that happen. Items can be scrabbed and decayed other ways as well, therefore, the full loot system is not a mandatory to have, even it is a working method and devs can easily tweak the breaking percentages if/when needed.

RE: How to implement fast travelling?
@Jetah I guess we do unless developers wants players to play only locally and not to explore. This can bore players really fast if they repeatedly plays on the same local environment. Few alts does not make much different because there is nine continents in total, therefore, with e.g. three characters you cover just small portion of the whole gaming world.
Fast travel does not need to mean that players can easily get everywhere, it can offer only few options so players can travel about there (naked), but way that you still need some traveling to get your final destination. That way players have a chance to experience the game more widely and group up more easily with friends and guildies. However, it is of course important balance this well and not offer too much travel routes, and possibility to move resources and items without any effort.

RE: Whats in the future graphically.
@Stacy555 I agree that the graphics could be better (and perhaps even will be), however, imo comparing big gaming studios and their products to Dynamight's might not the best options. New World and AoC looks amazing for sure and graphics are one of the selling points of those games, but perhaps smaller indie studios could be more equivalent to compare with. If we think Albion Online about a 5 years ago, the graphics were not that great in general, however, the art style appeals to people which helps a lot. Same thing with Embersword (from same genre) which is under development, the graphics are not that amazing but there is something with that art which appeals to some people.

@Gothix Yeah I agree. Offering some naked fast traveling options are only a QoL things.

RE: Wow
I presume a many of us are waiting more information of the game and I guess we have discussed many time of the same topics already, therefore, it is hard to get that excited at the moment. I am personally waiting the Beta phase when we can actually test the game as a whole and not just individual mechanics. Moreover, this is also a good time focus to play finished products.

RE: New World by Amazon - Anyone interested?
@GamerSeuss This thread is from Off Topic section of Forums and its about who is interested to play New World and try out the Beta test phase. My comments were only about New World's beta test and how it lacked different kind of mobs and animals. I guess you missed that but it is okay.
We need to keep in mind that Amazon was going to release this version, before they realized that the game is actually unfinished. Therefore, they were going to go live having only a few different kind of mobs and animals. They have basically used the exactly same mob model regardless what is the level of the enemy, therefore, if we think of Amazon Studio's situation it is not acceptable to use the test phase card to make excuses.
Moreover, even if we would discuss this about in general, these kind of things should be already in place in beta test phase tbh. However, nowadays it seams that every gaming company has own kind of impression what beta test phase actually means. Beta phase should be about testing the "finished" product, fixing bugs and making some tuning. Only major issues and problems can lead to design something totally new. I guess some gaming companies wants to rush to beta test phase, because pressure from investors behalf or that the situation would look much better what it actually is.

Before going for your suggestion perhaps the developers should start with adding different kind of mobs. Fighting the same mobs (there is just few different kind) from lvl 1 to 50 starts to get boring really fast.
That's just scaling up the same old static, mob-spawning system that's in most MMOs. If the developers were going to implement a next-gen mob system, it might be better to do that earlier to test it.
I don't think they will, though, either way. New World does look fun, but only the graphics seemed next-gen; everything else felt like traditional mechanics, just arranged a bit differently.
Given the amount of resources I'd assume are available to the New World developers (especially the existing Amazon server infrastructure), that's disappointing.
Yeah I agree, in most MMOs the mobs and animals are really static, either just standing or moving inside a really small area. Games could start with adding more roaming mobs which would move unpredictable way inside a larger zone, sometimes standing, sometimes walking, sometimes runing for example.
If I remember right, Ashes of Creation goals to have some kind of new generation environment system where player actions will effect to the mobs and animals as well. Meaning, that if players kills a lot of certain type of animals, those will spawn less in future and perhaps some other animals are spawning more. I guess if players kills a lot of wolves from a certain area this might lead to overpopulation of deers because there is not enough predators to keep that in balance. I would like to see more this kind of systems in games in future even I understand that these are not that easy to implement.

@GamerSeuss We are talking about New World not Fractured.

RE: New World by Amazon - Anyone interested?
I personally had a chance to test out the current situation of New World. I did not play it all way to the end game, but I kind of liked what I experienced. However, the game is not ready, not even close, but if developers can manage to develope the game further and fix the core issues, New World can be a good game. Potential is there but only time will tell what we will get at the end. Asmongold made a good review video of the game and I will link it here below if someone is interested of his thoughts.

RE: Support classes in Fractured
I am personally interested of the school of Illusion and spells what it can bring on the table. I presume there will be a good amount of support abilities, in enemy distraction way.

RE: New Armors and weapons, how do you think will effect the gameplay and your build?
I guess the pets are more intended as for cosmetics and for utility rather than raw power increase.

RE: New Armors and weapons, how do you think will effect the gameplay and your build?
@Gothix Hmmm... I kind of agree because from my experience in PvP situations it is easier (in most cases) to play aggressive melee rather than kiting ranged. However, the balance can easily change with more experienced players. I have managed to be decent Cursed staff user in Albion and a relatively good Frost Mage in WoW but typically I am better with melee classes/builds. I have always respected those who can play succesfully as a healer in PvP situations. Healers can often be the main kill target and under constant pressure, therefore, it is amazing if they can survive and keep team mates alive at the same time.

This was surely nicely done!

RE: The Potential City Problem.
Ganking is done for different reasons, for loot (and that way for money), political reasons (in a specific area) or just for pure fun. However, in Fractured where gear is generally cheap and easy to replace that might mean that ganking for loot can be quite underwhelming.
