@FibS I play ESO. What you are forgetting here is that ESO's expansions become DLC about a year after launch, so they can just be bought using Crowns, which are traded for in-game gold. Yes, they are pay2win but it's time limited pay2win. Eventually everything can be obtained.

I'm not sure that's true. They would have to pay somebody to do it or stop coding to do it themselves, both of which are bad news when you have a small team and a deadline to meet.

I don't understand this logic. This is a small team, it will take time for them to do anything with the game. It's best for them to put their heads down and code the game, saving communication for when we have test weekends for maximum impact.
