Defense quests that solo players can play that are scripted, the more quests that are completed the safer that area becomes. This way unused places become dungeons, needing to be cleared by new players as they progress. While the area is active new content is being introduced to the players, the more active the more varied the missions. Areas being used build up visible defenses. This way players determine what area becomes the central hub.

RE: Fractured Kickstarter - I pledged post!
@jahlon Hey man, just gotta say, might as well grab even the $20 EB starter. If the game impresses you latter down the line you can upgrade as needed but that $20 EB is a good value!

RE: Haven't pledged? Want to upgrade, but not sure yet? Tell us why!
One thing I might suggest, can you change the first stretch goal to a lower more obtainable level? $150k does seem like end goal now more than a starting point. I would say $110k to start with each 10 or 15K being a level.... unless a steam roll happens, but I would rather see the first one still start quite a bit lower.

RE: Fishing in Fractured
Fishing is a fun way to spend free time and when the best spots are in dangerous areas it can be a real sport. I hope it makes it in regardless of its spot on the cash goal list. It just adds a bit of depth to a game that is not combat related and can be an interesting mechanic, so many ways to do it, from just random chance to skill based crafting of lures and exotic bait to skill use of lures and scents and fish attractants. I have been fond of several types of fishing in games, some of them have been quite memorable.

RE: Lich Transformation unlocked!
Kinda like the undead vibe.... might need to rethink things...hmmm.

RE: Enhanced Character Creation
I like the idea of a custom resting pose and it would go with picking a combat pose as well. This way people that might look very similar can look different, and guilds that all dress different but all have the same relaxed state would look cool also. I like it!

RE: Post Kickstarter Funding is Going Well
Yeah not bad at all. I hope as time goes on it picks up a bit more steam. Would love to get to that fishing goal =).

RE: Skeletons
... you do have to fear sticks and stones! Words though.... not so much.

I was thinking the same thing!

RE: gear system?
This sounds seriously cool. Every little bit I hear about this makes me more excited to hear more!

RE: Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime
I like it... yes sir I like it lots. I love that being a beastman pretty much forces you to play nice with other beastmen. Makes it a little less shady and you can bet it will be a strong PvE planet.

RE: Kickstarter Update - Pledge Packs

I think the prices are in line with most other kickstarters. Your price point for lifetime vip is on par with Ashes of Creation.

I am thinking either Founder or Patron, I will figure it out when I see your full presentation.

I think that some starter packs would be good. Say a starter pack of crafting material, food, or a few exclusive plans and such. Start it at the Pioneer level.
-
Foundation points would only confuse most people, but if you do decide to offer them in packages reward those of us that have been here by at least giving a multiplier to those reward points in the package. Fair is fair.

RE: Foundation Top 100's Top 10.
I make my son post and while he isn't nearly as high as me he is keeping his own pace in the 40ish area.

Cursed items-
Will it be possible to find cursed items in the game? There have been many iterations of cursed items, such as permanently attached until taken to a specialist to remove it, items that bring negative effects to you even when just in your inventory. Some of these items could be cleansed and good aspects brought out, others had to be destroyed. I think if its done right it adds flavor to loot, creates a need for inspection skills, and livens up lore. It could also create the ability to curse items and leave them as traps for both NPCs and other players.
