Will the number of crafting benches be limited to the size of your house?
--For example a cottage would hold 2 but a castle would hold many more. -
Can you expand more on the idea of all items being equal?
--For example once i get a basic sword why would I ever be in the market for another sword other than it being lost or looted? -
Will there be player shops that can be opened or how is it planned to sell to other players?
-- Player shops hiring an NPC to man or manning yourself
-- Sell to NPC shops who then sell to others
-- Open market where players must attend (EQ W. Commons tunnel for those that remember - /shout selling carrots at 3rd light )

@gothix Very true. Hopefully our admins are able to keep up and make sure the information is at least accurate.
I'm hoping we have less of here's a guide to be <Profession> and more of well these skills work well together or you may want to consider X or Y.

I went back through my notes and I don't think we know the specifics yet.
There is the video they show chopping down trees and loading the logs into a cart to make a house but beyond that I don't think we know the specifics of kill land animals and have option to skin and/or butcher.
It did not look to me in the video that when the tree was chopped down there was any auto loot. It looked like he went around and collected each log that came from the tree. It also looked like he had a weight limit when he had to place the logs into the cart before collecting more.
I honestly don't remember anything about shared or round robin loot from mobs. Not sure if I missed that though. I still haven't fully watched the last two Q&A sessions from the Kickstarter. I more skimmed through them so it's highly possible I've missed some information.

@kralith So true and to @jozef 's credit I didn't even think of the flip side of the equation.Which now that it's brought up can be equally annoying.
Maybe there will be a concierge service in major cities that will allow players to search for item x and at least who is selling and where if not price. That's mostly wishful thinking though on my part

One of the things that I'm looking forward to is the crafting system. So I'll be some sort of artisan or farmer type I'm just not sure what yet since we don't know what is available. While i typically play squishy mage types first I'm interested in the marksmenship school for Fractured. I don't have it fully planned out just vague ideas that are subject to change

@jetah I have to admit I'm not very knowledgeable about issues with the skins and PVP.
One idea if this is a big concern might be to have skins that will only apply to a certain base class for example skin to 2 handed weapon can't be used on the daggers or a heavy metal skin can't be used on cloth armor.
You would probably still lose some of the information than just a base item look but at least it would be in the same family.
I'm also not sure how doable that would be from a programming perspective but I can't remember buying a skin for my bow and being able to use it on a sword so it must be somewhat possible.

I have a suggestion and since you've already passed my knowledge of Excel programming - I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do it.
The information from what I've tested works just fine as is.I saw you have on the enchantment page whether an enchantment can be used for head, neck, feet, etc
It would be nice to be able to pick the slot (head, neck, feet) and then only see in the drop down list the enchantments available for that piece.Again that is probably way more complicated than it sounds and there is the possibility that scholar feet and leather feet do not have the same enchantments which would make it more difficult.

I don't really see this as an issue to be solved. Most of us, myself included, are not going to have tens of thousands of PC equipment to enable us to run whatever super cool gadget tech that just came out. Heck I still play games from years ago just because I like them and I enjoy them.

Something about this disturbs me and I'm not sure I could put it into words.
I've played many games where the animal I killed is skinned or butchered for tailoring, leather work, or cooking. However, doing that to a playable race just seems wrong even when I would probably agree that at least for Demons it would not be far-fetched. -

I think one thing about this game also is that you not locked into a specific skill set. I can learn all of them if I want to take the time and pay the cost. I'm hoping that will let people adjust their skill to fit the scenario or what is needed in the group.
