@Logain Well otuside of the timesaveing on knowledge stuff. Which will be a bit faster then non VIP, but really don't matter. After a week, when everyone has the skills they really want. It's more for the inner completists in some crazy people like me ^^. In Divinity 2 ... i took 40 hours to do the tuturial island. Literally did any possible quest. Then killed all hostile npcs left. Then killed all non hostile npcs left. When i left that tuturial island, my toons where so overleveld and geared xD ... but every faction really hated me for some reason.

Well they didn't lose anything.
And only the packs of governor, aristocrat and that other one are "cheaper" then before. As they had no early bird versions, as far as i know.

Even then ... it's calling out "There's three more stones in my stone garden!".

Selling a few more of these, don't make much for an advantage or disadvantage. But they will pay for the actual cost of makeing said special limited pledge packs. Which isn't free.
(They didn't sell too many of these, just checked 1 guy upgraded and 4 guys bought Aristocrat packs too. Whoa ... a whole 500 bucks ...slow clap).

Edit: Actually only the Aristocrat seems to have the discount. Now that 1 pack is freed up on the governor slot. And i haven't seen a free slot on creator. So yup, 500 bucks difference up to now. From KS pledge price to discount one today, for the restpostings.

Edit2: Actually, we're literally wasteing time on like up to 1000 bucks of difference... for max 10 people worth of aristocrat pledges (When the previous ones decide to upgrade ... somehow in one of the really costly ones).

Expected late June to hit, with about 2 weeks of time beforehand with an news announcment.

WHICH needs to be done next monday, if two weeks equals 14 days (actually would need to be today, but lets not be to hung up on the two weeks timeline xD).
So either it starts the next weekend or sometime after that.

We're my big fails of crowdfunding up to now. One was aroudn 100 bucks the other around 150 bucks gone "puff"~

In the end it's a gamble. The only good thing about it is, that i had enjoyed these two for alot of hours. So i got my money worths entertainment out of them.

If i can get 2 hours enjoyment per 1 dollar investment. It's fine even if the game totaly fails to deliver a realese in the end.

I spent like 200 hours on Dual Universe Stuff to date. I would call that a sufficient return, + it seems DU will deliver in the end ;3. And i am hopefull DS will do the same with Fractured.

rolls the dices Only chance and hard work of the devs, will tell us if this is a sucess at the end of 2020.

I really hope that we will be able to "tame" undead creatures as Lich and no other race will be able to do that. That would be something unqiue for the race that's literally undead.

Outside of that i am happy to see that Pets (with no fighting capabilties) and other companions will be useable at the same time.
Would love to see skills related to the fighting capable ones too. Like healing your pet, boosting it or giviing it orders to attack someone or follow someone supportive.

As far as i remember.
Any new cosmetic stuff and items added to the new pledges, will be given to all pledgers of old too.

So you don't even need to buy the "seasonal" pledges, some other games do to get extra founding.
(Crowfall which i like is doing that + sales ... on them cosmetics too. Ashes of Creation is doing it too. Only one who doesn't change up their "pledges" are Dual Universe atm, of the ones i am watching. And they gotten 20 mio of external founding. Duo being just really interesting for some investors, tech wise and so on.)

But lets stop.
People who paid more will be salty.
People who could upgrade now, will be happy.
New people wont understand the problem.
And someone who does the math, kind of argues "why care?".

The best that could happen is.
DS drops PR and gets another 100k of money in this month. Which would help pitch the game to investors, with favorable terms for them. Unlikely~
What's more likely to happen, is a few thousands more in sales. On pledges, they could jus thave retired and put up new ones with less stuff in it.

@Roccandil I'm hopefull for the spatiol os part of the engine. That should handle alot of people ... in theory. Like how it handles alot of mobs too.

@Pluto Not talkign about the dev plunders on stuff. But shady stuff. What shady stuff has DS done? I'm not trolling you, just want to know. Cause i don't see anything except a way to spread the word for free, with promise of possible free stuff (which you can get by just idling too, i'm 125 level in foundation).

I think you need to re-read my post, I addressed that.

As for the cash grab, what else is it?

A way to get a bit more funding and retire the now done pledges for less scrumpios packages.
If you look at Crowfall for example, the sheme was the same.

A cash grab would be if they went for "Hey now it#s 50% off, get it while its hot! And we throw in new stuff, that the other guys don't get!".

@Pluto How did you get shafted, if someone bought it for slighlty less then the original (only non early bird, version?). Your still a KS backer and they're an "early adopter pledge".
