RE: Various damage types vs immunities
Optionally (but this is more demanding to implement) caps vs mobs can be different then vs other players.
Lets say player had 90% fire resistance. Full 90% is taken into account when monsters fire attack hits you, but only 50% for example is taken into account when players fire attack hits you.
But this would require much more coding and balancing, and Im not sure if that would be in devs interest. And in our own interest for that matter since that would extend game development time.
Also if that policy is taken, than its possible a lot more would likely be tweaked like that (to do a "full job") so entire combat system for players vs mobs would be somewhat different than for players vs players.

RE: What's the Tank Build in Fractured?
Choosing a race will definitely be imnportant, and will affect the way you can build your character up to a deegree.
If you are not min maxer, you are more then able to chose your race by the looks, and social factors though.
But If you want to min max, then you gotta go with race that offers you what you want to achieve. -
RE: Various damage types vs immunities
99% is still too much imho.
Various other MMOs tend to hard cap things at 75% and one can reach that one particular cap only when minmaxing in that direction, while his other stats suffer.
Normally soft caps engage at 35-40%.

RE: Goodbye Grind?
I personally like no repair system. Repairs can get tedious.
With the huge possibility of theft i dont think repair system is needed. We just need disassembly system, when i steal lots of gear from others to be able to dissasemble it to % of base materials, and use them for other purposes.
In Arboreus some mobs need to steal your gear when they kill you. Humanoid thief NPCs and similar.

RE: No grind for real?
Your new character will still lack learned skills for you to be able to counter many of the build types.
I would say that as an expert player on new alt, you will be able to counter some of the mains that are currently playing decks which your starting deck can counter.
You will still need to learn more skills to more efficiently counter more decks.

RE: How do you think the Economy will actually function?
One would expect that local resources will be low in price, and resources brought in from other planets will be expensive, so people think they will get rich by travelling, gathering abroad, and bringing reources back to own planet for sale. But...
In reality, there will be so many players that will do same thing, they will undercut each other, and prices of non local resources will drop, so they will end up being just slightly more expensive than local ones, and will be nothing that will get you rich.
The only way to get rich will be by territory control, having a strong clan, imposing your own rules in zones you control, collecting taxes, going on military offense and robbing enemy clans of their goods, and if sucessful, your clan can get wealthy, and so can you.
The only way explorers and gatheres can get wealthy is by forming own strong clan, trying to control prices, by attacking competition phyiscally and politically. With military support from allies, that help them in said thing.
Noone will get rich solo. So if that is your dream, forget about it. You will need a support of a strong clan / alliance, or you are getting nowhere. Well... at least not to some extreme, you can have own house, some gold, and farm... to really get rich, you will need to be a part of strong organization. And not only low member, but someone with a "position" inside it.

RE: Bartle's Taxonomy and this game.
I'd say I'm a combo between socializer and explorer.
I do enjoy PvP, but for the "social aspect", having fun with bunch of friends, having laughs while PvP-ing, promoting your clan name, etc. So PvP for me isn't about killing, killing for itself has no purpose. There has to be some agenda behind it, if nothing else, "social community fun".
I do enjoy to achieve something, but again, I do not care about achievements that I do "just for myself", its again for "social aspect", for bragging rights, etc.
So socializing explorer fits me, even if I engage in PvP and achievements, but those are because of social aspect.

Begging..... Has not worked in the last 15 MMOrpgs, so I'm very hopeful this time.
It's better to find some other beggar, and stick around until he has annoyed people too much already.
Then you come near him and say in local public chat something stupid for a joke, like, I also need gold to build a death star, and ask for somewhat bigger amount.I've actually gotten gold several times from random people like that.

RE: Goodbye Grind?
There will never be any game in which you would need to "do nothing". What would be the point of a game then? Log in and watch the stars?
The question is only how extensively you will need to repat certain activity.
If you take Korean games and see how extensively you need to spend your life, doing same action over and over... and over again... that's grind.
If you just need to get some coins for the house, and then you are done, your house was build. Thats not grind.
Also for all repeatable activities, it's just he question how extensive repetition is, and is this activity you must do exclusively for itself, separated from other gameplay, or is it something that just comes along naturally, while you are also doing other stuff.
Many factors are involved here in determining is something "grind" or not, and how large of a grind it is.

RE: Daily Quest Issue
I think that quest reset timer just isn't tied to 0:00 CET time.
I never actually payed attention to what time exactly it resets. -
RE: How will you be making your $$$?
Gathering mats for Shrooffie แตแดน and delivering them to particular tavern.
Fighting off furry (and other) thieves trying to steal the said mats.
Dancing on tables in particular tavern for tips.Occasionally if I'm out of coffee, due to crisis, go on murdering rampage to random villages and take whatever I can.

RE: Is being a Demon all around negative?
Of course humans will in this case likely have to wear only single implant at time and chose what kind of bonus or stat change they want at the moment.
But if they are able to switch implant like switching a deck, possibilities for adaptive gameplay can be quite nice.

@Nihilosh said in Help please. Give me a key to play:
I have serious health problems and I dont think I will be alive when this game comes f2p.
You can never know when someone on internet is telling the truth, but if this indeed is the case... shouldn't you be catching every opportunity to hang out with people, and "live" rather than sit isolated at PC ?

RE: Is being a Demon all around negative?
Being a human will give you access to technology. Something other 2 races will not be able to use.
We still lack many details, but possibilities here are huge.
Humans having most talent points, and a slight chance to be able to use cybernetic implants to move talents around -- i'm just speculating here -- (example, eye implant tech, increses your perception by 2, but reduces your charisma by 2), have a chance for most adaptive gameplay.
Point is, possibilities of technology are huge. Ability to use it in farming, transportation,...
I wouldn't say humans are at any disadvantage. Onm the contrary...
They live on most populated world (Syndesia, being "in between" will be the "center of the world"). Guilds will fight for control of teritories and be able to impose their rules.
Gameplay in Syndesia will imho be much more wide and dynamic then on other 2 planets. On Arboreus and Tartaros you genereally know how things will look. On syndesia it will really depend on player dynamic.
Also posibilities of technology...
Just wait.
Don't dismiss humans.
