A cosmetic reward that I've seen in some games are special titles. Kill the most orcs and become the Orc Bane.

I'd say uploading your own music would be subject to copyright issues.

RE: How big should guilds allowed to be?
I can see leveling guilds for cosmetic addons. Flags for their guildhall, tabards for their members etc...SWTOR had a similar system. I'm against anything other than cosmetic.

RE: How big should guilds allowed to be?
I would just like to see a good guild management system. One that won't break when the size of the guild gets too large, ability to assign officers to aid in helping with management, and maybe server goals based on guild participation. Guilds should be more than just adding a guild identifier to your name.

RE: Mobs Should not Leash?
Maybe like rpgs each creature in the game should have a movement rating. Some will be slower than you and some faster.

RE: Reagent Enchanting Spreadsheet (Update 2020-Oct-14)
Awesome. I like when stuff like this hits the net. I'm not one of those guys that likes to spend hours figuring stuff out. It would really be nice if the game had an ingame knowledge system that actually had stuff like this. Your character is not you. Just like in D&D I might be playing a mage. That character knows the inner working of spells; how to use them, how to cast them, what is required. Myself, I know nothing of magic. If your character has the knowledge then the knowledge legend in the game should show the specifics that character should know. So if your character is very knowledgeable in enchanting then the tables would be available of what your character knows how to enchant.

Somebody didn't have any problem killing them.

RE: Travelling&Exploration
I like that you have considered storage and respawn at the closest city. However, the problem still lies in getting to that closest city that is close to where you want to hunt. If it still takes an hour to get to that city from where you last logged out it's still going to be a big time sink. If there was a way to teleport between cities that would be awesome.

RE: Travelling&Exploration
Travelling on foot/mount will be fine when you haven't seen the area and are exploring it. However, once you have explored a place then it is just tedious getting to areas where you want to hunt. I completely agree we need some sort of fast travel options in the game. Maybe some kind of travelling circles that can be built in you house that can be set to areas you have been before. That way you are only allowed to go there if you have traveled to it manually for the knowledge. Or maybe something like the moongates in UO that at least can shorten your trips where you want to go by creating short cuts to general areas. Allowing such creations in towns would be nice as well so people can go from town to town. Limit them to individuals and not carts, wagons etc.. so the transportation system isn't circumvented.
If the game is going to require players to sit at the computer for hours on end to get anywhere then casual players will be eliminated from the game and that will severely limit the success of sales. Some people only have an hour at a time to play a game and if there are no safe logouts other than your home then everything has to be a round trip for fun.

RE: How will loot drop work?
If you respawn at your house each time you die I can't see you making it back to your body before your stuff disappears most the time. No travelling healers or shrines to res at? I remember my first time dying in UO. Man that was a trip trying to find some way to res all while in a black and white screen.

RE: Not a whole lot of space to build
If it's anything like UO housing plots were a premium. Many people were able to afford to build a castle but there were no plots for them. I do believe I saw early on in the forums that the worlds will grow new housing plots as needed. If that is the case I expect the beast world to be crowded like Trammel was.

RE: Another Player left their cart infront of my house entrance and now I can't get in.
Wow I guess that's one way you could get back at someone who makes you mad if you can follow them to their house. Do carts not logout with players? I would assume if they are not on your property they would disappear over time.

RE: You have no right to loot this.
I wonder if someone else attacked it and ran off before it died then it regened.

I don't hang out in discord so I musty be missing quite a bit of ideas. Would be nice if more of the intended content made it to the forums. Thanks for posting

RE: What will be the in-game gold sinks?
I'm not starting a political debate with you. Coins for this game as well as real world applications is to help ease and standardize transactions. They were also a way for a kingdom to promote itself. Often ideologies were stamped right on the coins. Today, yes I agree with you. Governments can print and devalue their money, That, however, just devalues their currency which reflects on the open market trading. Coins often not just represented their value but were their value being minted in precious metals such as gold and silver.

RE: What will be the in-game gold sinks?
I prefer there to be a basic coinage system in the game. Doing everything in gold coins is much easier than some king of conversion system designated from bartering. It allows a player to convert all their junk items into one easily stored item in the form of coins. Then dealing with npcs will produce coins into the system from missions to buying/selling items. Everything becomes easier using a money system. Why do you think all societies in then world adopted one?

RE: How big should guilds allowed to be?
How much has been spotlighted on guilds? Most of the games I've played recently that had guilds had time limits on dropping and joining another. So doing anything temporarily would not work. Also if a guild has any kind of ranking bonuses players are not going to just abandon their guild for a fight. As a guildmaster, if I had to manually add a player back into my guild I wouldn't do it for players who kept jumping ship to go pvp and wasting my time.
