Might as well ass phobias into the game too then. Getting paralyzed when seeing spiders. Afraid of water and you can't walk through water, no matter how deep. Get random fear debuff where you run around with no ability to control yourself during night, because the fear of the dark.

I played SC a while back, when they were doing a free weekend for everyone.
When I played it back then, the game was very confusing and not very intuitive, so I hope they will do that again someday, so I can see how the game has progressed.

Another solution could be that different schools use different stats as "fuel".
So INT will fuel the learning of magic schools, while STR fuels the learning of physical skills.

If you want a town all for yourself, then of course you can make your own guild and invite nobody else.
But building a guild village is balanced around multiple players, so would be quite costly and challenging to do alone.

It's just a conspiracy to give a "healthy" alternative for smokers.
But long term effects of vaping has yet to be researched.

I always see the Lich as an evil being.
So maybe humans should have 2 options.
If a human turns evil it can become a Lich, but if the human turns good they can become a Satyr (for male) or Nymph (for female).

That is true. Both Elite: Dangerous and No Man's Sky had a rough start and got a lot of negative flak. But they eventually turned it around. But it still cost them a lot of players who would just remember the rough start and will never try it again.
Think SC is trying to prevent this, but having people wait for too long isn't a good idea either.

Best way to deal with spam as I see it is having a bot check in account creation and also having a rule where you need to have made X (usually 10) amount of replies in forum threads, before you can create a thread for yourself.

Star Citizen isn't a scam. I just think they put too much hay on their fork.
They got a lot of money from the kickstarter and still after that and they got overly ambitious as a result. Wanting to do too many things to please their backers. The more stuff you want to put in a game, the longer it will take to finish it.

Some developers just release the basic game and put everything else they wanted to do with the game in a DLC/expansion.
To me it looks like the SC devs are not planning to go on that route.

Usually do cereal 1st, then yogurt (better than milk). But if you do milk 1st and then add cereal, the cereal won't get so soggy so fast.

Bought it on sale, ages ago. I was bored with it after a few hours. A huge universe, that looks so boring, that I don't even want to explore it.

If you played No Man's Sky long ago you might want to give it another go.
Each of the updates the game had were huge. I was bored with the game too, but started a new game with this latest update that was released few days back. I must tell you, it feels like a complete new game. So much to do, it's hard to decide what to prioritize.
It becomes even more interesting when you upgrade the hyperdrive and you can visit the green and blue star systems. There usually are more extreme planets there.

No Man's Sky is awesome now with the NEXT update, and will improve even more over time.
Dual Universe is also looking promising, but the fact they are going for a subscription based game might hurt them in the end.
EVE Online has a free to play option and recently expanded the stuff you can do on a free account.

So I just hope they can release Star Citizen in time, because it will become more difficult over time as there is some strong competition.

Easy to solve problem. Just make cloth armor give a bonus to magic casting, and have heavy armor give a penalty to magic casting.
This way, they can be a tanky mage, but they will never be able to dish out the damage a cloth wearing mage can.

I got to my rank (lvl 143) without having friends.
I was here early, so got a lot of points from daily messages and was lucky enough to win weekly draw 5 times.

So just make sure you post daily and make it good posts and not just a simple message in the daily post thread, so you are eligible for the weekly draw. Also share the news stories on FB and twitter.
And having friends doing the same will help a lot.
