Yeah, I do really like foundation feature. Pretty neat. Not revolutionary by any means, but still something to increase engagement, which I'm all for.

@mrchipps I completely agree. It's really hard to combat this, but other games have addressed this in pretty unique ways. For example, using the approach of making "information" an in game item that is needed for certain things. Therefore if you - the player - knows something, your character can't utilize it.

For me the game has to have a pleasing aesthetic and an interesting background story. That will get me playing. Then to keep me it needs more sandbox elements than not, and absolutely must not devolve into a stupid endless grind for gear. Grind gear which is needed to go to the next area, where you guessed it, you need to grind for more gear. That get me to quit pretty quick. Finally, a solid community will keep me around.

I really believe that design experiences are a wonderful funding option. Offer the ability to design a pet or weapon, charge a nice hefty fee. People love that stuff. Heck create a couple (very few) design experiences for world events or major bosses and you could sell those for an absolute premium.
Edit: As an added thought, I kind of like the idea of foundation rewards being separate and just for those who have put in the effort before the KS.

@benseine Exactly what I was thinking. I would love both abominations and angels to have different flavors depending upon what you started as. I can completely understand if that isn't included as it might increase cost/time, but I think it would be awesome.

@finland ahh, so you're thinking that once you hit that point of becoming an angel every type of demon will transform to becoming the same visual of an angel. That would also indicate, like ya said, having 1 set of special angel type abilities. Still, it would be pretty cool if each type of demon let to a different type of angel. Or in same thing in the case of beastmen to abominations.

Not sure if I've seen the answer, but I've looked a fair bit and didn't stumble upon it. So, I know that demons change appearance when they become an angle. However, are all "angels" the same, or will Blood Demons, Shadow Demons, and Hellfire Demons all have different abilities/looks when they transform into angels? Ultimately, will there be different angel types?

Personally I love that MMOs such as fractured, and a few others, are moving towards this approach. So absolutely sick of the class approach. I mean innovating ain't that hard.

Straight DPS for me, whether that's a ranger type or magic wielder. I love the idea of jumping into the thick of things and just mowing down baddies.

For me I wouldn't mind cosmetic items or companion pets. However, I wouldn't be a fan of stuff that negativity impacts crafters.

I think I fall into a mostly RPPvE type camp. I've personally never been able to get much into RPsocial, but I really agree with the OP that it is an important consideration.
