RE: Respawn planet
Don't forget other Demon parties may PvP attack the ones gathering resources for a portal.
Also, it was mentioned that travelling between planets, especially to Beastkin is quite like expedition - I do not think it will be just click on portal and appear on next planet. Of course it will be different during Eclipse and Demon raid on Human planet.

Thank you for your answer. -

We still have to decide how to treat Angels (a full transformation is the only way you can have a "Good Demon") when it comes to living on Arboreus, since in many ways they are already subject to the same limitations of Beastmen. Perhaps they'll be allowed to live on Arboreus... We'll see!
@prometheus said in Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime:
Abominations are treated just like Demons. Babilis loves them - what could be better than a Beastman who has left the light?
As for Angels, see my reply above!Probably Angels will be able to live on aboreus and Abominations will definitely be able to live on Tartaros
@prometheus said in Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime:
They earn new racial abilities and also change look quite radically - it's like belonging to a whole new race!
Seems it will change stats, look and all, so buffs and debuffs are definitely going to change too.

It's also done pretty often in MMOs in general I think
I've played quite a number of MMOs and I think it is quite uncommon.

RE: So we were just introduced to "Karma", but what about "Fame" and "Infamy"
Well, I bet you can get personal titles, as in other games and in this way you may brag about what you have done and achieve.
I cannot see a personal Fame/Infamy record - where and how it should be displayed? But this kind of idea would work great for Guilds.
Guilds achieving a specific objects, spreading their fame - it would be a mutual target of all players belonging to that guild. In addition it would be easier to reward - for example the fame of the guild city, attraction of new merchants, etc. -
- Czarna Kompania - <- Gildia dla Ludzi
Any guilds or players from Poland?
Couldn't find one, so I have created a new one: - Czarna Kompania - -

It's good that you finally dared to come out of the closet

RE: Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime
@Prometheus
In the spotlight it is mentioned, that Good alingment players won't be able to loot other Good or Neutral players.
Are there any exceptions from this rule? For example looting a friends corpse and holding to his items till he respawns? If my friend that is in my party dies and we manage to fend off the culprit before the body is looted, it would be good if we could take either the body or the equipment and bring them to a safe place.
If we have to guard the body till dead player comes back, then we can be easily taken out one by one by murderers. Also the freshly respawned player may have hard time getting back to his body if he just had lost all of his equipment.Maybe there could be some kind of item, spell or divine ritual (from good aligned deities) that would send unlooted corpse back to its rightful 'owner'? Performing such ritual could give a Karma reward to one performing it

RE: Cosmetic cash shop, RMT and p2w.
@logain said in Cosmetic cash shop, RMT and p2w.:
b) You are only partly correct, if you play an MMO as PvE only, yes, you can only compare that to an extent, but even then. Trivial example, it takes time to regenerate mana and health in a game, but you can purchase 'potions' to fill up either/both. Now the person who doesn't invest money has to wait for regeneration, whereas the person spending cash can simply swallow potion after potion, killing creatures at a much faster pace. If there's progression, that person has a considerable edge over you, or else why would people consider 'botting'/buying progress?
Now, if we're talking PvP, that is even more of an incredible advantage. You expressed and experienced it yourself, the more warriors you can keep constantly on the battlefield, the better your odds.Usually potions are not only available to buy for real cash - if they are, then it goes to the definition @EvolGrinZ provided: "P2W means that there are items in the cash shop that are better than you can find in-game and the only way to get them is to pay real money."
If what you wrote is about normal potions, that can be bought for in-game currency or even be crafted by yourself, then I wouldn't consider it p2w. Of course, it may give a 'money spender' a slight advantage in speed of progress, but it doesn't mean he 'wins' with you. There is nothing limiting you from buying the same potions and using them. It is your choice if you want to buy them or save your in-game cash and wait for regeneration.
In PvP - as I mentioned above, if the same potions are available for in-game cash, there is nothing stopping you for using them yourself. Usually potions have some cooldown time, so there is a limit how many one can use during a heated battle. You should be able to defeat a person using them, it may just be a bit more difficult or time consuming. -

@jetah said in How do you feel about transmog system for fractured?:
what if.. the transmog person was an illusionist that had your gear visual in a wardrobe? What if the illusionist was able to make the item completely change like.. uh magic..
I don't think anywhere we said we want bikini bathing suits as transmog items. I don't think anywhere we said we wanted pink PJ's as a transmog items. I don't think anywhere we said we wanted .. well you get the point. Put the ideas of current fashion, Asian mmo fashion behind you and think of the possibilities of just Fractured. Every time I've posted on this thread, I've thought of medieval style gear, not thongs, not hot pants, not tutu's, not TF2 hats.As I mentioned - I fully support illusionist to have a possibility to change the look of any item to any other item. It just isn't transmog - it has to be casted and have a duration, as any other spell. You can skip the duration part, but then it should be a channeled spell - consuming your mana as long as it is 'active'.
In addition, a possibility to change the look by magic would be available only to illusionist, a transmog/wardrobe system usually is available to any and all characters in game, not depending on what kind of skills and combat/magic schools they use.All I want to say is that illusion magic and transmog/wardrobe are two completely different things.
@darian said in How do you feel about transmog system for fractured?:
As for illusion magic, I think @Dybuk gave a pretty good answer.
Thanks
