@kellewic yeah I am really glad we will have sieges with player collision. Bit lame to see one blob of players just moves through another blob of players.

You can go without water for 3 days in RL? Ingame that is 6 hours. Sounds fair.
You can go without food for a week in RL?
Ingame that is 12-14 hours.Don't add food and drinks to the game to add all kinds of buffs, so it becomes part of meta. Have food and drinks to get ridd of debuffs that are part of the survival elements ingame. That would be awesome and unique compared to all other mmorpg's out there!
Waiting for a dev blog about survival elements...

Also, I don't see why beast men guilds on Arboreus would not be able to siege each other. There is no PvP in normal play time, but sieges could very well be an exception to that and allow good guilds to fight each other in time frames (and zones) designated for sieges.
they can't kill each other though. but i think i understand what you mean.
Maybe a siege where you can only bring pillows as your weapons to the fight

@darian the blue bar instead of the green endurance bar might be a better option then. Dunno if blue bar stands for energy or mana tbh, but that can also be changed ofc.

@kralith Instead of grind you will most likely have expeditions, since the game has survival elements en procedural generation. So will inlikely be mindless hitting nodes like in albion (where the map tells you wich resources to find...). It will require planning, and in alot of cases, group effort.

Question about being a game tester
I want to know if the devs have thought about character whipes during alpha/beta testing. Pretty much got a guaranteed spot in the pre-alpha and will buy my way into alpha testing in the kickstarter.
I have lots of experience in testing alpha version of games, but haven't done it in a couple of years. In some games it drove me mad that they whiped my character after every new build. Those games had grind in them and I needed to grind again to be able to reach the previous bug location and check if they where gone/back. I'm a patient guy, but after +100 character whipes even I get frustrated. I know it is sometimes needed, but plz try to avoid doing it with every new build. Fractured doesn't have grind, but it has exploration in procedurely generated content. Don't want to run for hours after every build before I can contine testing. Well let's say 10x is okay during an alpha/beta, but not 100-200x
Can you plz take that into consideration?
Edit: Just thought of something else that might be an issue. If the game has procedurely generated content, I might not find/unlock the same abilities and thus I might not be able to reproduce a bug under the same conditions after a new build. Is that correct?

@gothix pkers will play ambush. Not much to think about. For raids you need all so guilds will force players to play the role needed. You can not go without any role if you go as group. For solo it's ambush usually.
For big raids and sieges ambush style characters are of little need. They will be asked to switch to healer/support role probably, and good guilds will supply the gear for it. A good guild that wants to siege will have expesitions to help it's members learn the abilities needed for sieges and raids. Healing spells/abilities will no doubt be high on the "to do list".

I have a legendary epic "staff" with super strong abilities in real life. I don't need that in the games I play because I find them too distractive and they break away from the game's experience. Keep it real plz!
