It's unfortunately true. All the information on the wiki is completely player knowledge. The developers don't contribute there at all (which is good, coz it'd take time from development). All the people that have access to update the wiki though are friendly members of the Fractured community, volunteering their time to compile everything they can for everyone's benefit!! Most of the new information I would suspect, is added either during a test phase, when people can actively test stuff to learn new information. Or just after a test phase ends, when it is still fresh in their minds.

The initial download and install can take some time, depending on your system's speed. My old potato took awhile. If you have an old potato, maybe get it started and go make yourself a cup of coffee. Once the game is installed, you're ready to receive the patch update for the test. Last few tests, they opened up the character build/settings area, and let people/guilds claim cities, before the alpha proper started. That helped a lot! If this is the first test you're playing, your patch will be way bigger than that of folks who participated previously. It may mean making another cup of coffee.

Go extreme for a full luck, perception, charisma, divination build. That's what I plan on doing, just being aware of threats before they happen and running.

@d3Sync putting too much meat on the fire, none gets cooked. There's a road map, there are high priority features, so while it can make sense to discuss stuff like drinks it makes less sense if they are planned but just not right now. Until you know what the development direction is on a certain matter you can only speculate, when maybe the team already has an idea on that topic, but it might be too early to discuss it while a lot of core mechanics are still lacking. That said I'm not against talking about it, but I understand why people might want to keep discussions focused on what is going on and not what is planned for a distant future.

So far I've seen the trailer for the game and it looks promising enough but I don't think it's the best MMORPG of all time. This game reminded me of Albion and Runescape
