what would the point of that be? if this is a sandbox what would be the point of the devs policing the community and safeguarding players? having certain players and guilds monopolizing items lead to conflict and lead to player driven content as players vie for the control of those items...

@Finland I dont think ive played a sandbox so extreme that there was no quests... I played Arch age for a while and that game had quests... I guess Ultima Online never had quests? wouldnt know since I was too young to play it in its hay day... going to be interesting to play a game with no quests at all...

@jetah yeah having night merchants would work. Honestly I play games for hours so not having access to a merchant for 30 minute or even 1.5 night cycle would not be an issue for me. but for people who play for an hour a day and not having any merchants at all might be an inconvenience. so yeah having night merchants and night quest givers have be a thing.

Randomizing puzzles cant be that hard to make and would be awesome! even if theres just two ways to solve the puzzle but they keep randomly changing between the two and if you fail you can only retry the puzzle after certain amount of time it would be meaningful and give us something extra to work towards

@benseine I know couple of single player games that have NPCs with fully flushed out routines where they live their own life. would be great to see that kind of mechanics but I doubt its possible do that with every npc in an mmorpg. but definitely would love to see random NPCs atleast do SOME of the things you mentioned! maybe the merchants and quest givers cant go home and sleep in the night cycle but other non important random npcs can have their own cycles!

RE: What unusual weapon types would you like to see?
It would be cool to have weapons that you can modify like the skills! the dev diary they talked about each skill has three levels and you have to perform certain actions to unlock the higher level of the skills, it would be cool to have some rare weapons you can do the same with, maybe dunking a sword in a volcano magma to make it a flaming sword. Not for all weapons but for some of the higher level/unique/ rare gear this would be great! maybe a sword from a boss mob that you can turn into a vampyre sword if you kill X amount of a specific mob!

some games have night/ day but they dont really do anything. game just gets dark and light. its good to hear that thats not the case with this game

Night/Day events
We know that the game has night and day cycles! what would be cool is having events that can only be done in those times. For example thieves that show up at night or vampire/ werewolf etc. or even have certain mobs that get stronger at night vs day and get better loot drops.

@kellewic AS long as the player who has money and only 2 hours doesnt lvl upto cap at the same amount of days/months as the player who put in 6 hours and no money! I think thats what most people are worried about! the player who players 2 hours and spends money should STILL end up taking longer to level than the player who spends 6 hours a day, but level faster than a player who spends only 2 hours a day and spends no money! the most fair thing to would be: player who spends 6 hours a day hits cap in 1 month; player who spends 2 hours a day and money hits cap in month and a half; and a player who spends 2 hours a day and spends no money hits level cap in 2 months! as for the person who has both time and money as long as they arent hitting cap in 1 day or anything insane like that, because every game has the big spenders with a lot of time and you cant really do anything about them all you can do try to curb as much as possible the power imbalance while levelling! some people think just because someone is levelling faster than you that means the game is P2W and I dont think thats necessarily true! I think if the player who pays and who doesnt pay can go head to head and be EQUAL in all aspects at end game then its not really pay2win...

Hmm I can see both sides of this. I have played Runescape which has a similar VIP thing and P2Win xp boosters and that community has been going strong for years!!! as previous posters have said as long as it doesnt end up messing with power balance at end game where one player has more power than the other player just because they are playing then it shouldnt be considered pay2win. on the other hand if it takes non VIP player a month to level upto cap and it takes VIP player a day to level to cap then there's obviously power imbalance that needs to be addressed! At this point with the info we have its too early to get all mobs with pitchforks about this.

Do we have to log in every day to get daily bonus or is it automatically given? also in the foundation my daily points say 10is that in addition to the 15 base points or did they scarp the additional 15 points thing?
