Playstyle (PvE/PvP) linked to race?

So been doing some reading and it looks to me that if you want to play PvE you are "stuck" with Beastmen, and if you want to kill everything that moves (and everything that doesn't move, just to be sure) you are "stuck" with Demons.
At first glance though I was interested in playing Demon, but I am not all interested in PvP or PK.
So.. would I be better off to create a Beastmen instead then if PvE is my only interest?

The demon world is lawless PvP, it's going to be messy there. Beastmen can't attack each other, so unless an evil Human or Demon visits Arboreus, you're safe.

What about making a Demon and become friendly and live a life on the beastmen world as a farmer.
Would that be a possibility?

Ah cool. Will certainly go and try that, but maybe not on the 1st character I create if it's really as hard as they make it sound it is.

You can always play as a Human, it has both PvP and PvE gamestyle ^^

I just like the esthetics of Demon's, but totally not interested in PvP. Hence why I ask.

Hello everyone, rather new at the game, most certainly new at the forums.
So, regarding pvp, the demon planet is a lawless hellish (pun intended) gankhole. What about the human planet? How will pvp work there? Will there be a flagging system and/or a karma system? Will there be designated pvp zones or the human planet will be a lawless gankhole at which you may opt to do some pve as well?

The Human planet is lawful pvp (justice system), the demon planet is lawless. That's the biggest difference.

The human planet has a justice system, probably much like other sandbox games out there with justice systems. If you're a criminal, you'll have to deal with the authorities. The demon planet has no rules. Pure unadulterated gankfest.
