Gifting pledge packs

Hello,
Apologies if this has been already asked/answered or it is otherwise obvious. I was just wondering if (and how) pledge packs can be bought for (or gifted to) other people, and if they have to have a Fractured account to receive them.

You have to create an account and, sadly, you can't gift it to anyone. You can send that person money in order to buy the pledge for themselves.

you could always set up an account for your friend and pay for it for them through the account itself
although, if they were already looking for it and have contributed quite a bit to earn a high level on the foundation, it probably isn't as appealing an idea...

Thanks guys, appreciate the answers and idea. I would have liked to get them a pledge pack as a gift/surprise, so ideally they would not have to know or be part of the transaction. Hopefully they will consider setting up this option before the packs go?

send them an email through the website. worst case they say no, best case they say yes.

@Fraxav Create yourself a New Gmail Account with the Receiver In mind.
Purchase the Pledge package using that account name and then text your friend with the access details thereby giving them the account and package at the same time.
That is how I would do it.

Sorry for resurrecting quite an elder topic (or for missing out on any news on the matter). I was wondering if there had been any developments on this side of things? Or @Prometheus is there anything you could do internally as Jetah said (i.e. adding a pledge pack paid by me to an existing account)?

@Fraxav you could make a new email account buy the game and give the person the email details If you wanted

Cheers, that has been discussed before and it is an option, but I am not aware of any way to gift someone with an existing account. Hopefully, there will be a way to at least buy the game for someone else before it launches.

sometimes they dont do that because of stolen credit cards and forced refunds.

If they have a account ask for there details log in buy the game remove ur card details if its account based (dnt think it is)
