    The flora could has a A.I. and randomly creates. It would generate a new and infinity skill that would be equals to the beast log but with plants. Like the flora has a timelife and It dies and grow up again, that could generate new plants orçamento repeat some that already existe.

    @riccardoric Biomes have a cycle we are going to have seasons.

  • TF#4 - EMISSARY

    @Finland but they generate randomly? Like a procedural generation?

  • TF#10 - CONSUL

    @riccardoric randomly? Regions got biomes like IRL and seasons are cycled like real life. I don t see the point to have them random. Ageing has been discussed somewhere and I do not remember the answer.

    I think it would be very nice if the world could change by itself, following natural changes!
    For example, during spring there could be a luxuriant growth of plants/bushes that blocks the entry to a certain area/road, similarly during rain season (if there is one 🙂 ) ponds could be formed.
    On the contrary, during dry season or winter, patches of vegetation could wither and lakes could freeze giving access to previously unreachable places!

    @Finland I don't know if you know, but the natural selection by Darwin says that the strongest species remains alive and the weaker one goes to extinction. So, it could generate new species according to the environment conditions, if I understood right the player can change the environment, and the flora and fauna will be affected by this selection, generating new "random" species.

    @SunLion Yeah, my idea was simulate a real nature but 10000x more quickly haha. I don't know, it's very very difficult to do...

    but we see where smart members of a species also remain alive.

    @Jetah Yes, that exactly the Darwin natural selection, for example, a butterfly that can hide from others predators will survive better than who can't

    @riccardoric

    There was a fowl that would mate with a waiting female while two males would fight each other. While it wasn't a species it was two groups that were procreating. One strong that would mate and one smart that would.

    It wouldn't be random because those biomes fauna and flora would create new fauna and flora mimicking its own needs for that biome the difference would be visually and effects wise and its a good idea because alchemy will actually mean you go out and test the new plants and if you use a plant for a certain potion and that plant goes extinct then you now have a new adventure to go on and it will also keep the economy healthy as people will have to buy new herbology books to be able to make remedies and such.

  • TF#4 - EMISSARY

    @orical-the-exile that's the idea! Make some different

  • TF#1 - WHISPERER

    @riccardoric its brilliant and doesnt have to be a mechanic of the game the devs could do it themselves in updates every now and then same with camps of enemies they could evolve over time if they are left alone and they would get more powerful units over time the best idea for this type of mmo is evolution its a brilliant way of keeping people interested in my opinion (others may vary)
