@Ostaff Keep in mind that the second half of the month doesn't mean it'll start right at the beginning of the second half.
It just means the alpha will start at some point during the second half of October.

Or, rather is planned to start then if there's no real roadblock
Game development can be tricky and 'bad stuff happens', so don't be disappointed, or even worse plan your life/free time around a date for as test, even if it gets announced.
