From Tibia to Fractured, Greetings from Brazil!
-
Hi Guys! Pedro From Brazil here and i´m really hyped for this game and glad I found it!
My first MMORPG was Tibia =D most of you probably know it some might have played it! I´d like to talk about two Reasons why Fractured made me believe in MMORPG again and how that relates to Tibia
- The lootable PvP on the Deamon world. That can be awesome! In Tibia if you died, you would loose your loot, maybe some of your equipment and experience(level) and Skill (attack power) At the time i didn´t really like that and I can vividly remember the adrenalin rush, the despairing and terrifying experience of beeing Atacked and chased by a PK (player killer) that would be marked with a skull by his name. Beeng a PK was also thrilling beacause you could not logoff for 15 minutes you could not enter safezones and anybody who atacked you could enter safe zones or logoff easely.
Nowadays I really miss that because tha game was so much more intense and real due to that! You would swet, cry, rage, or reaaally laugh at that! Now if you die you just wait for respawn... it´s just not the same
- is THE GRIND.... ohhh how bad that is for a game and tibia was full of it like many games... whenever you have to keep killing the same lame monsters, or attacking a dummy for hours on end to lvl up your exp or attack/ defence or to simply get money, that game becomes a job you don´t get paid for! I want to play! To have fun and most importantly: ENJOY!!! Doing the same over and over for hours on just to get to some point where you can actually enjoy an item, achievment, or a status is what killed a lot of games to me! I really hope Fractured can do it diferently!
I believe in this game´s concepts and potential! The only bad thing about it is that it will take 3 years for us to fully enjoy it hahaha
Nice to meet you all and let´s keep in touch! It´s amazing to see people already planning guilds and towns in a game that is 3 years from happening!!! that is so cool, I wanna be part of it!
