As im aware that this project is using dynamic spawns, age system for the creatures ecc, i would to share this video that probably you have already seen, or at least i wish it:
For me this and more dynamic enviroments are the key for this game, and in the future i would like to explore and create stories with friends based on the world you will create.

I feel like the same system might work better in this game with the karma system. They'd have to adjust the karma system a bit to make it work, since as I understand it now most animals are unaligned and don't impact your karma, but there's definitely a way to incentivize letting animals live here
