Pc requirements
-
Anyone know what kinda specs we are looking at to run this game smoothly?
-
@light Since the developers do not know how much the game will use resources, they can not tell us what kind of PC is needed at least
WILL I NEED A NASA COMPUTER TO PLAY FRACTURED?
Definitely not! We’re working to keep Fractured available on mid-range computers and laptops as well, including those a few years old.
-
no but we have info like it could be running on 2-3 years old machine. Look at the footage on website news .:)
-
@light try to run PoE. Fractured should be similar from what I seen from the video.
-
I plan on upgrading at least slightly before this game comes out. Hopefully graphic card prices will fall from the crazy bitcoin explosion and I'll be able to more comfortably afford to do so.
My machine plays POE just fine and it's almost 5 years old at the moment.
-
you should be fine with a 5yo system. isometric games don't require a bunch of resources because you're always looking at the ground.
-
@jetah This would be more for my benefit but I would definitely like it to look really nice when playing just for immersion sake.
-
depends on your video card/cpu whichever is needed most by the client. most clients use the cpu more than the gpu so it can work on more systems.
-
It's running off the Unity engine, and looks very similar to Albion Online, so I'm thinking you can use that as a bench mark, but it's really impossible to be sure.
Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10.
Intel/AMD CPU with SSE2.
Graphics card with Shader Model 2.0 support or better.
2 GB RAM or more.
Linux:
Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit or higher or SteamOS (other distributions do work, but are not officially supported)
Intel/AMD CPU with SSE2.

This is a great question for some of us running older machines.

@dulu
that looks like most cell phone requirements now outside of the OS.
