Are ring colors connected to stats? like green = dex ect?

@Nasty good question, which other relations between icon color and stats you see?
Curious, if the Devs made thoughts about such.

Ring that is made from Flawless Emerald gives Poison Resistance.
Depends on the color of the ring and gem used its gives another Resistance, Ruby = Fire Resistance, Topaz = Shock and so on.
Necklace give stats, for example Topaz = Precision, Ruby = Strength etc.
