Totally love the foundation program the only problem is i have no friends so i feel i always lose out on the gain from recruitment perks. ( i mean i have friends they just dont game). In the future will there be other ways to gain rep? If so what do you think would be some productive ways to award points?

@ildirettore the purpose of The Foundation is to spread info about the game. It's just a game to get a pre-alpha key. I think that's the right choice to give keys to popular people instead to lone wolfs. Influencers will bring more players and that's what they aim. I think you should not worry too much. You will be able to buy a key from kickstarter anyway. The foundation is just for an early early access limited to pre-alpha. About rewards it's a gift for those bringing more players here. About the game itself we could play together once we get the game (if you like)

I made it to level 45 with 1 friend that doesn't post. go through all of the quest and ignore the ones about friends.

No friend invites here either. Friends don't think much of this game still.

I hear you all. I joined late (about 2 months ago) but still wish there was a way for excited players to secure a way to play without spending kickstarter money (which i will probably do).
p.s. i feel in game we will be the best of friends
p.s.s. the issue i have with friends is why this game over POE

only way is to rank up the forums if you don't want to play. sorry but free isn't really free, it cost someone something. In this case it'd cost the developers. DS wants quality people in their testing instead of someone who'll 'play' the game for a week then move on.

@ildirettore Access to alpha will be only via Kickstarter, if I understood well, and there will be far less keys than for the pre-alpha. For the pre-alpha, we still not know wich level we must reach to have an access, but Prometheus said it will be more than 100 and less than 1000 ^^
P.S.: I don't have any friend too, just doing the daily post and daily connection ^^

@ildirettore well unluckly the foundation key does not give the access to alpha/beta/release so everyone will be forced to buy it

I too don't have any foundations points from friends. Closing in on level 50. Maybe you will get lucky and win some engagement points!

So that means the top ranked ppl in the Foundation get several keys?

For example if they give 500 keys. I think they will give a key to each player from position 1 to 500.

yeah except don't hope for 500 lol. I think 300 is enough of a stretch.

@specter thank god, cuz i found out about this game so late and i only have like 10 friends that would be interested and we're all competing to get our other friends to get into this game.

I only have a couple gaming friends but its hard to talk them into stuff like this. They just want to see end products. Kickstarter games have burned some people and its hard to get them to come back. I post on forums but some just bash kickstarters and toss out some compelling failures. My son was interested for a bit, but he and his friend have moved on with other things and will wait for bigger updates. I have moved up in points pretty much by just doing all the social quests and with a couple active recruits from other games I play. Just keep up with the game and stay active here in the game forums and you might get a weekly 1k points also.
