I jsut got the master edition, I've no idea where to download the game, and haven't recieved a key just yet. Where is that download located, and how long can I expect to wait for the key? Checked spam as well, nothing yet. I am out of the U.S. Looks like an ideal game for me, now to reading the forums and hope I can figure things out while I wait for answers ! Thank you ahead btw

The game is current in the alpha stage, and most of the structure of the game hasn't been developed yet. There is a test coming up soon though, and when it goes live (tests are not always on), you can check out the game (technically, it's not really a game right now) in its current state! Keep in mind that each alpha test is only designed to test out a section of the game, and most of the mechanics currently in game will probably be changed by the time we get to launch.

Ah ok, not a problem. I have the itch to hit all Alphas and Betas for Survival games for the last 10 years, looking forward to seeing this develop as wll as put my 2 cents / pence in
Thank your reply ! OH do they send you the link upon the next Alpha stage or do you have to go to the website?~ Hawk

Hello Hawkshield!

@Hawkshield
when it goes live, you'll have a link to download the client, and then just log in with your user name and password for the website to access the alphatest
-
Look forward to seeing you in there!

Welcome to Fractured!
I hope you're going to enjoy your time and testing here
-
@Hawkshield - hihi and welcome! you've come at a perfect time!
If your package includes alpha access, you'll see a link on the main Fractured website 'PLAY' tab as soon as things go live. Last time, the devs let folks into the character-creation page & city claiming a little early so they could have themselves ready to rock.
I'll bet they do that again, so watch forums for an announcement - @Prometheus @Specter & @Oxfurd are good accounts to 'follow' to make sure you don't miss that.
Meanwhile, you've got time to check out the wiki to learn about the various critters and the knowledge system, and catch up on some forum conversations. Allow me to recommend a couple of useful links to have bookmarked (with thanks and kudos to the amazing folks who are keeping those up for us!):
The Enchanter's Guide to Reagents & Their Powers
and
Our in-game book of knowledge doesn't have pix (yet) so if you kill a bunch of mobs you've never seen (e.g., several sorts of goblins or spiders) and want to learn their identifying marks and what they can teach you, the bestiary is invaluable.
Happy hunting, new friend

This is great thank you. I have also been watching nearly all the previous Alpha test videos on YT that I can. Greatly looking forward to being more a part of the community (and a city or town if I can). Neckrage has been a very good source for what the spells are and the memory system.

@Hawkshield - yeppers, @Nekrage is solid brick. Fun too. If your play-style is demonic pvp, his guild will be right up your street.
-
no pvp for me, likely I will head to the Beast realm, then maybe I can be a carebear Bear?

Hello and Welcome

Oho! Maybe you're one of my peeps, then! I don't plan to start up my Beastfolk guild until the actual launch, but my concept is to run a group of guides/caravan protectors on Arboreus, to help merchants and tourists get from place to place without trouble. Let's stay in touch!
Meanwhile, allow me to recommend the Meridian folk. Great organization and perks for members so far in the alpha tests. Once launched, my guild will probably be in cahoots w them.

@PeachMcD sounds good, though I must admit I do lean toward being a crafter/explorer! I was curious as well, with all the Fractured vids I have watched on YT, I only seen them playing in the Human world. Does taht mean only the human world is available during the Alphas?
-
Yes. There is currently only 1 map available to us and that is Myr on the human planet Syndesia. Therefore we are only allowed human characters.
-
@Hawkshield - we're in early days, hermano. So far, they've just done Myr and the human race. Once all those basic mechanics are where they need to be, the other planets and races will be added.
I'm using these tests as a way to make all the PC building blunders I don't want to make with my 'real' toon once the launch happens. The skills tree is a new mechanic for me, and I've already made some dumb mistakes. Luckily, those toons wipe when the test ends.
