Hello all!
I just signed up and by the look of the content, I am super excited! Almost reminds me of the MMORPG that started it all...Ultima Online.
Anyways, hello and I look forward to getting to know the community.

Specifically, it looks a lot like Ultima Online—the game that turned me on to online gaming. Super curious how it will pay out. Sounds like we can conscript NPC’s like carpenters which sounds a lot like Ultima Online. In Ultima online you conscripted NpC venders and placed them outside your house to peddle your goods while you were offline. Also the progression system is similar, both of which are based on skill with weapons/craft vs level and gear. The city structure seems interesting, I have yet to see a game that did it well. Mortal Online attempted to, but ultimately the system they have is a failure. Also I enjoy the top down camera view approach and game play. I have always enjoyed games like that. Again, like Ultima—post Trammel/felucca, Fractured also have different worlds with different standards of acceptable. Some hated the split in Ultima, others loved it. I hope it works here. I have been looking for a game like this for the 20 years after Ultima tried to expand into 3D and ultimately fail. @Bhan

@Stabodee - sounds like you'll fit right in! If you've popped for a founder's pack and are getting ready for the next alpha, allow me to recommend a couple of useful links to have bookmarked (with thanks and kudos to the amazing folks who are keeping those up for us!):

Our in-game book of knowledge doesn't have pix (yet) so if you kill a bunch of mobs you've never seen (e.g., several sorts of goblins or spiders) and want to learn their identifying marks and what they can teach you, the bestiary is invaluable.
