OK, those are cute!
But they need a backstory. Possibilities:- Ancient curse
- Mad magical experiment gone awry
- Selective pressure to adapt to fill a unique ecological niche

i'd have to gods fight. one killed the dragons while another resurrected and changed them to what we see today.Iridia hated the idea of Babilis' children and killed them all, beheading them. Babilis resurrected them but was only able to do so with their heads.

The headline of OP was good and gave me one idea of NPC faction for Tartaros. I will get back to this later.. What it comes to those puppies..
Maybe lil bit too cute as mobs for planet Tartaros, but could work as pets.

Maybe lil bit too cute as mobs for planet Tartaros, but could work as pets.pets, yes! they're the 'cats' of the demon world! maybe when you travel off of Tartaros they transform into a cat.

Sure they're cute ^^ Maybe we can tune them a bit to look more dangerous ^^ Or imaginating a race with this feature (big mouth and big teeth)

it's why i said they could the 'cat' version for demons. even the demons still think they're hideous but humans and beast might like them. until they start gnawing dem bones.

oh. just thought that they could be some beast of burden. hooked to wagons, sleds, plows, etc. maybe we'll need animals to grind wheat into flour.
