To maintain a good player base the game will have to find the balance between pvp and pve.

One one end of the player spectrum you have people who only want to PVE.. may not want to fight anything at all, just craft and explore. The other side of the spectrum are PVP'ers that don't want any limits on how, who, what or when they can PVP.

Most players will fit somewhere in the middle. Putting meaningful town guard on the human world could help differentiate it from the demon world and cater more to the medial group who like both.

Jack of all trades build says support build to me. Tank died? Step in and take a few hits until the tank gets rezed. Healer can't keep up, you throw out some heals.

I find it a fun way to play but it will never be the best at what it does.

It sounds more like your looking to be able to change your role completely as if you could click a button and you switch to tree two or three?

How high will the numbers go? Daily, daily post.

Hard to say what type of archetype I will chose, as I have played and enjoyed many different paths to take. I often play healer/caster when there are dedicated roles. A game like this I can see myself playing many different roles before settling.

Sweet sound of silence.. I was listing to sentimental journey, one of my all time favourites that has stood up to the test of time.

Unlike other games, I hope the guards will mean something. So many times the max level PC can pretty much ignore them because they know they can do what they want before the NPC has a chance to retaliate.

So the Guards should be on par or higher than the max level PC and adjusted as needed.

@mewmew. I even agree this is low priority compared to working on the game.

I am very much a visual learner and having a picture that has only one link, human, to my idea of who my hero is, creates a slight dissonance with the ideas of who my hero is in my head. Being able to pick the gender, having two pictures to chose from is my suggestion to lessen this. Having more pictures than that is just a wishful thinking.

@Dybuk, That is a good idea. Being able to use the forum avatar would work. Or, if we were able to link a picture hosted elsewhere.

I have played both male and female and it is the aspect of each Character and what they wear will greatly influence what I play. Each person chooses what they play on their own criteria.

A large consideration for me choosing an avatar: Are the females wearing metal bikinis? and/or are the males look awesome in the same Armour that would actually offer proper protection from sharp pointed objects? If the first is a no, then my first avatar is female.

I have had some interesting moments while playing MMORPG with peoples assumptions about the gender of my avatar and my own gender. I was once told "Dude. I just wanted to let you know, the way you put your words together is very feminine".. to this day it both boggles my mind and makes me laugh. This was back when females were in the vast minority of players.

It's cool, I was hopping I had just missed something.

One word difference can be easily missed. I know that well myself.

Every time I log into my hero profile I think to myself that I should change the picture to female.

I would love to see us being able to pick a picture to represent our hero’s gender. I know that it would also would not be amiss to be able to pick from a handful of pictures in each category.

Now the next question is.. where will it show on the fractured web site what you have pledged. While I triple checked my user name I would still like to see an indication that it is properly linked.
