If you could design an animal...
The other day I asked in Discord if you could design any animal what would it be. I figured I’d ask here on the forums as well. Sooo... if you could design an animal for Fractured what would it be? What would it do/what spell(s) could it use? And what story would you add to them?

RE: Guild Towns and Guild Mergers
That makes sense. We just would like to buy more townships and want to make sure it can be part of our larger organization. I have to say I love how responsive and nice everyone here is! Thanks for the continued information and the link!

RE: Greetings, tis I, Pangu

RE: Funding
Ongoing funding is a strong point. It’s one that is important to me. I asked about gifting in the discord as it’s another way to go (being able to fund through gifting to friends and family) but at the end of the day finding a way to make it so your supporters can spend monthly money will make you a lot of residual income points. My community is used to residual purchases (we come from Chronicles of Elyria) which allows title purchases and a thing called EP that allows you to help shape the world (in essence it’s sort of like your gold system). I was told gifting will be a thing so can appreciate that. Any other things you can think of for ongoing funding would be amazing. Would love to continue to support but eventually will run out of things to spend on

RE: Guild Towns and Guild Mergers
@Farlander It is a lot riding on a single person, understanding the systems mechanically just allows us to make informed decisions. Can a guild not own more than one town? Our group already has a few town level pledges will we need to sub divide our community into each of these towns?

RE: Whats the probability this game will actually see beta and a release?
As someone who was deeply pledged into CoE, (I was know as Pteroguin) I think some of the things that provide hope to me for Fractured are;
No NDA - for true transparency
Reaching milestones
Minimalistic scope creep
Bugs that are reported get addressed quickly
A comprehensive and achievable vision
Responsive developersAt the end of the day I pledged as a backup/training area for my CoE community but time and time again Prometheus and crew show me why I should of pledged more here and less in CoE.
Ultimately - if one should pledge is a deeply personal question. I think they’re doing a great job and will achieve many if not all of their objectives.

RE: Guild Towns and Guild Mergers
In regards to Q&As do they have transcripts by chance?

RE: Funding
I would say there are plenty of things to hype about Fractured, and that should lead to further conversations.
-
The three planet system. Providing a multi-faceted play experience for many different types of play style. I fully enjoy the PV-Choice (PVP or PVE) as a leader of a community this allows all of my members to feel like they have something to play and their way.
-
The ongoing and obtained progress that is occurring in development. Spotlights, information drops, and updates.
-
Developer response on the forums and Discord. Fast, friendly, and informative developer response is amazing.
-
Milestones. They already hit Alpha 1, phase 1. They hit a milestone, something tangible. I can show my gaming community the skeleton of the product. This allows people to see how gameplay would be, even if it’s rough at this time.
-
NO NDA, allowing multiple conversations to actually occur about the product. This shows anyone that they’re not hiding something. It allows those without Alpha access to get involved with suggestions and comments.
In regards to fishing it does a multitude of things, imo. It provides a new way to generate resources. It shows that they are looking at ways to expand interaction in the world. Same goes for animal taming. To some it might not be that interesting, but to me it shows that their stretch goals aren’t huge scope increases, but are things people want and associate with games in accordance with MMOs and Sandbox games.

RE: Support/Bard Type Archetypes?
@asspirin I think the point is exponential gain, which can be accumulated no matter the sample size. That’s before you take into account cross race alts. Ultimately everything you listed can be achieved but could still benefit from multi boxing/multi-accounts if they allow it.

RE: Impatient but charming Knightess. Glad to meet you all :)
What excites me about Fractured is the multi-race, Multi-Planet approach. A feeling of old school games with new ideas. It hits a lot of the things I’ve wanted in a MMO for awhile.
As for being in a guild my gaming community Vandiir has started taking an interest in Fractured. Our leadership has picked up a Duke of Syndesia pledge and a Warlord of Tartaros pledge so we’re invested in the game. Currently we look forward to ongoing collaborative relationships with other organizations with clear and defined agreements for all parties involved. Alternatively we’re always open to recruitment as we extend our multi gaming community. Not much drama is tone bad though.
Anyways nice to see new faces in the Fractured community and look forward to future talks.

RE: Dont forget the RPG
An inherent contract system would be amazing. Simply put as a leader of a town being able to produce, or direct people to produce items or gather resources is huge. Imagine I want to travel around and see another city. I could show up, find their stores, review what they need and set off on “quests” to obtain those things (be them x iron ore. X hide, x person for bounty). This would provide me income as I travel around and still let me earn to maintain a lifestyle and repair items/obtain new ones in the area. I think PVP has many different benefits depending on the race chosen. Beastmen learning to defend themselves from invasions, or to explore off Arboreus. Humans to prepare for the long nights of invasions. Demons because killing will provide resources. Give creative players a tool to add and create and we will.

RE: Fractured Content Pills - Week 25, 2019
Looking good! The hype is real.
Will the fireballs be able to light the area cobwebs on fire? Any known planned spell interactions at this time?

RE: opinion on most recent alpha test
The chat box part I used the little “lock” but a transparency slider would be nice long term. Nice post and good suggestions

Stretch Goals - Are they still tracking if we pledge money?
Hello everyone! I was interested in pledging but was curious if stretch goals could still be met? The current data I could find indicates they are tracking for 2018, as it's 2019 I felt it prudent to inquire. I'm looking at possibly going Warlord of Tartaros but want to makes sure we can still have a chance at animal taming. I feel that animal taming will bring a lot to the game and look forward in helping unlock it.

RE: Funding
I would agree it's why one of their best decisions was to remove the NDA on Fractured. It allows the conversations to occur. It allows Streams, and theory crafting, and frankly once they're here it's about proper community engagement. All things that seem to be heading in the right direction. I continue to be impressed with the premise and design. I look forward to the next phase of testing.
