    • The Pack

The Pack is a collective of Beastmen. Primarily of the Udoadra, they also welcome other kin, so long as they follow and understand the law that binds The Pack.

We are Pack first, individual second.

When decisions are made to act as a group, the majority carries it with each having a voice. Those who stood opposed lose no respect, but are expected to play their part and not challenge the overall will. The placing of individuals over groups is what, in The Pack's eyes, led to the Fracture. It is not a mistake they intend to repeat.

The Pack seeks to form a strong community, allowing each member to explore their own potential and decide where they belong, believing in nurturing and teaching them for both their own benefit, and the collective one.

This is a RP focused guild, allowing roleplayers interested in playing Beastmen to find like minded souls. 🙂

    • RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill

The door creaked open as a white furred Udoadra made his way inside, a somewhat tattered leather cloak hanging from his shoulders. His chest was bare aside from the clasp of said cloak around his neck, and he wore a leather kilt around his waist, several small bags of various herbs strapped to it. A roughly carved wooden staff rested in his hand as he tilted his head back, nostrils flaring as he scented the air and let golden eyes pass over the occupants, taking their measure before he quietly stepped forward, the lights of the tavern illuminating tribal tattoos winding over his arms and chest.

The Wolf-kin approached Glim and his companions, inhaling scents and tilting his head slightly, the sweep of his neck and throat bared in a sign of peaceful intent. "I didn't expect kin here." He smiled softly. "But you're a most welcome sight after a dusty road." His staff tapped against the wooden floor. "This one would join you if welcome."

The man sat, taking the cider offered to him and sniffing the contents before taking a careful sip. He hummed, claws tapping against the mug. "Telwath." He answered with a smile. "And I welcome you as a friend Malyvern." He plucked a bag of herbs from his belt, offering it to the mage. Focusing on Glim, he reached out to clasp the other's hand in greeting. "How do you find human drinks?" His lips curved. "Nheedra endurance is legendary."

"Too many of your people need to learn the lessons of the past better." Telwath told Malyvern ruefully. "Conflict, division, that is what caused the fracture. If cycles repeat.. I hope they do not. I.." He's cut off as a vegetable splatters against Glim's back, eyes narrowing and claws flexing as he scanned the crowd for threats with a quiet growl. Seeing nothing past jeers so far, he gives the Nheedra an apologetic look, brushing excess fragments from his back. "Some heard your words, at least." He offered to him in an attempt of reassurance.

"Their way, not ours." Telwath mused to Ixou. "They'll learn or they won't." He paused, checking the herbs he has on offer. "You'll need a river or lake to wash yourself in." He advised the Chadra. "But this." A small leather skin of an odd smelling paste is held forth. "It'll clean your fur and skin, and, you will smell nice." A faint slant of amusement touched the Udoadra's face. "We should all think about some cleaning." He suggested, glancing at Glim's back.

Eyes went to the well dressed man and he spread his arms. "Accept that us hearing your words doesn't mean we will follow them, and I will listen to what you wish to say. The Erwydra who addressed them received a curious look, but he held his silence on that score, watching her head for the tavern.

"Rikki." Telwath hums in thought. "I don't think I've met her just yet. You'll introduce us if she's awake?" He smiles, running a claw over one of his tattoos. "No demons out here, I'm hoping. Other threats, but, we're well protected." He pauses.

"Still, I may scout when we're a little further from the city. And,. if there is danger." He offers Mimi a studying look. "How advanced are your studies? We'd do a lot more to support the others if we're able to work in tandem."

      Chadra.
This one likes independence. While the strength of the wolf is the pack, the tiger prefers to strife alone through the jungle without fear of anyone else.

Tiger tiger burning bright, in the forest of the night.

That said, I'm leaning towards the Udoadra and the strength of pack.

Telwath flicks a grin art Mimi, nodding. "I was sent, asked, to learn more about events on this world. I wasn't expecting to find so many kin, but, curiousty's a powerful thing. And it's refreshing."

He becomes more sombre as the caravan settles and Mimi inspects one of the statues, his eyes going to Ixuo. A pause, then he shifts his gaze to the shadows around the camp fire. "I agree.." He murmurs to her and Ixuo. "It's beautiful and alluring, but, the scent in the air, the soul of this place.." He produces a few tangled knots of wood from his satchel, green light flickering through his fingers. "Help me place these in a circle around the campfire?" He asks the other two. "It might offer a limited ward against whatever's lurking here."

Telwath smiles, nodding lightly to Mimi. "Not too long a time, but, it does feel like longer. I always miss home when I'm away." He runs a hand through his mane. "Not that I dislike traveling, but, home is always home. And, I've mostly bought myself, and a few useful herbs and potions. Maybe I'll trade myself if it gets too cold in the mountains." He cants his head. "And yourself? How long since you've felt the soil under your paws?"

Telwath winces, rubbing at his ears after the fireworks subside and moves to follow along with the caravans. He glances at Mimi, still pondering about the combination of their skills, but holds his silence for now, the Erwydra seeming to choose not to speak of it.

I would make an Udoadra focusing on enchantment and restoration to be a mix of a healer and buffer, very much a support style character.

"We should all aid others, whatever path we choose." Telwath answers with a nod, firmly clasping Mimi's hand and elbow. "And, I was one of those who studied and learned, yes. Most though, they're Erwydra such as yourself. I was the only Udoadra my tutor had. But my family, they have all been warriors and scouts." He chuckles. "I think I was more of a rebellious youth then anything terribly profound when I chose to study healing and druidism. And now I find myself a druid myself, and, travelling. The latter of which I didn't expect." He pauses. "It was my first time too." He admits. "but I realized.. we need to learn them, their ways. And as I said to the one there. We're all creature of our own natures. It's just to be hoped humans turn more to what we promote then to what they offer."
