@deity I'd like to know if beastmen will be able to PvP at all, if so then it would be the best of both I'd imagine.

RE: Instanced Dungeons/Raids
@finland But forced traveling isnt much better than spam dungeoning. I'm thinking more forcing people to explore and farm different areas for dungeon scrolls, or even just fragments of them. Just having people take10 minutes to move to the next location just to do another instanced dungeon isnt very creative.

RE: Finding a balance between skills.
@Dagimir I think the fact that you can only use so many skills at one time will limit the meta's. There could be several meta's which is fine with me. within 400 skills there will surely be quite a few so I dont think it will be as big of an issue, especially if people do what Deity said and give feedback ^^

RE: Instanced Dungeons/Raids
@finland @Frost I didnt mean to use it and get teleported straight away I kinda of like the idea of going to a certain location and then using the scroll to open up a portal tbh, sounds more adventurous!
I think both types have their pro's and con's too. As previously pointed out the open world ones have problems in regards to people spamming bosses and can be a gankfest. Instanced can also just be spammable too, which is why I think a scroll that must be collected somehow kind of alleviates the spamming of it. It forces people to go out into the world and aim for a scroll to THEN go to a dungeon (instanced). personally dungeons should be a little more rare than they usually are ^^

RE: Instanced Dungeons/Raids
@frost Yeah, good compromise. What about some kind of 'instanced' teleportation scrolls? They take a group of players to a dungeon and it mimics the same idea of instanced dungeons but doesnt mess with the open dungeon theme of the game?

RE: PK punishment
@tulukaruk I'm a faction versus faction kinda player. I like PvP but I dont like a gankfest either. Thats just boring when you cant move two inches without someone wanting to kill me.

RE: Instanced Dungeons/Raids
Maybe they can place a mechanic where you cannot spawn camp the bosses? Perhaps some sort of time limit. Also having irregular boss timers are much better than the standard set timers.

RE: What are the chances of seeing some heavier siege weaponry?
@drunkrussianbear In the races spotlight they mention that humans will have machinery - most likely in the stpe you're looking for

RE: Transporting resources between planets
@tulukaruk I cant remember for sure where exactly I read it, but the implication was that you die. Its a risk and if you just get teleported back... well theres no risk then Demons do have a time limit, but like they said in their journals, there is an event were they are allowed to stay a lot longer on the human planet and they have defend themselves agains the demons

RE: Map.
@33hp Like the idea, could even have one of the harder spells in one of the schools help in creating maps and so on.
-
RE: Which school of magic will you focus?
@Frost Ahh, you are correct, still very barbaric-esque! I would like to see if playing to one or two schools as opposed to 3-4 is more efficient? Will have to wait and see!
-
RE: Which school of magic will you focus?
@frost Yeah, battle mage style! Very barbaric-esque!
-
RE: Which school of magic will you focus?
@vorch21 Yeah, both of those a pretty unique So thinking more of a supportish role? Divination just sounds really creative to me!

RE: Will dropped maps be included?
@karuro Very much agree! More creative; adventurous!
@Esher Yeah! Its only a simple addition really but makes a world of difference.
@Luccheno I did like that too actually, but for the reason you put I'd say a random location works best to deter those from trying to do that Maybe a hybrid idea between the both would be good.
@Vengu :thumbsup_tone2:!
@Frost My sentiments exactly :)It just lends itself so well. My only worry is for those who say how does is work thematically, but I'm sure the devs would find a way -
RE: Will dropped maps be included?
@vengu Yep, exactly! Leads you to a target location to dig for treasure. Could have a minigame involved too so its a little bit more interactive. Could even be a way of getting unique titles and so on, not just gear, cash or resources.

RE: Transporting resources between planets
@tulukaruk You dont die instantly, but you can only be in another planet for a certain amount of time. So I'm assuming that if you miss your time with the stargate, it may be too difficult or time consuming to create another one before your time limit is up. And the limit means death. Going to another planet is suppose to be a risk, thats their reasoning behind it I feel I should point out that gear isnt suppose to be incredibly important. You will go through several sets of gear fairly often.

RE: What's your playstyle?
Support/utility style or glass cannon Mage
-
RE: Transporting resources between planets
@tulukaruk Yes, your gear is dropped on death.
