This is a pretty awesome idea and would be amazing. The only downside would be summoning a AFK demon lol. While in all practical purposes it would be awesome it would also have some interesting possibilities. If voip was a thing... summoning a foul mouthed 9 year old real life demon could be rather entertaining if nothing else to perform a banishment. I am all about entertainment and summoning player demons sounds pretty darn cool.

RE: Fractured System Requirements
From what we have seen thus far I would not expect the system specs to be too high. I would guess a solid internet connection will do you more good than a top rated video card. That being said a 920 is one of the lower cards of the last generation but I would still put it as a solid possibility for this game.

RE: Identifying Items
I like the idea. It would be nice to have a mechanic like this, enchanting, identify, repair all of this could be done much safer. You could even have a work station where you would have to put all the required items (if items are needed) and the skilled tradesman would simply have to apply their skill. This trade station could also contain prepayment of either items or cash and once the tradesman uses their skill it completes the trade giving both their respective items.

RE: Future Beastman races?
It would be cool to see some combined races... Humans and Beasts like Trollocs from the Wheel of Time. I guess it would need to be an entire new type of race though. You could call it Twisted Magic.

RE: Which school of magic will you focus?
I will take "Sharp Metal Pointy Stabby" as I beat creatures like the loot pinatas they are! As spoken by a true master of the SMPS "They cannot cast a spell if you cut off their hands, now hold this wand and I will demonstrate."

Looking forward to reading more about this! Sounds cool!

RE: π―The reputation of the account
It is quite difficult to see and it did take me a while before I noticed it. Nice post, hope it helps some of the new people here. Might be a good idea to bump this once and a while, and definitely when the kickstarter starts up!

Suggestion | Extra Races?:
@finland Ah, that depend of our representation of a fae ^^ It could be a fae with scales and a head who looks like a drake head ^^
@Mazikar Your dragon-kin, will they have wings ? It could be interesting to have some winged races, it will change a lot compared with usual races ^^
The Wyvern and Fae would have wings but the Drake would be land bound with a marked advantage at swimming. So many things that could be done with a realm of dragons wouldn't you say?

RE: π‘ Suggestion | Extra Races?
Dragon Kin
- Wyvern - DPS
- Drake - Tank
- Fae - Caster
Dragons are rarely used as playable characters as they make epic boss monsters. There have been a few, none that to me did them well enough to be of mention. The best part of working with a dragon would be seeing it mature. I am fairly sure seeing a party of dragons charging into the battle would get quite a bit of attention! There are quite a few different types of dragons as well and lore to work with. Dragon kin might be a good selling point.

RE: What unusual weapon types would you like to see?
I am a huge fan of the Kopis or Falcata depending on where you are from.

RE: B2P or F2P?
I am not a fan of F2P game models. It always ends up that you will pay more to be effective, be that time management with buffs, equipment, or resources you will need to pay to be top tier. I think everyone should pay the same and let skill dictate your placement in the rankings.

RE: Map.
When it comes to maps I hate radar style mini maps but I do like maps that get more accurate the more often you visit an area. I do not like when I can see resources on a map, you should have to investigate walk around and find them. Of course its just my opinion. It mostly comes down to not liking the mini map / radar. I am an old school player that pulled out graph paper an made my own maps, all the way to EverQuest, eventually even EQ got in game maps, but on first implementation you had to navigate and no mini maps.
It is difficult to say what kind of map would be cheating as we have not seen the game yet. I would say that exploration zones need to be blank pages and cities should be set up for easy navigation. Secrets need to exist no matter what, and those need to be omitted from maps altogether.
Best to find a new and exciting way to do it. Maps can be cool and having scribes and explorers even more cool.

RE: Cursed items-
@prometheus glad to hear its not entirely off the table! There are lots of cool possibilities, but it does in the end have to balance.

Cursed items-
Will it be possible to find cursed items in the game? There have been many iterations of cursed items, such as permanently attached until taken to a specialist to remove it, items that bring negative effects to you even when just in your inventory. Some of these items could be cleansed and good aspects brought out, others had to be destroyed. I think if its done right it adds flavor to loot, creates a need for inspection skills, and livens up lore. It could also create the ability to curse items and leave them as traps for both NPCs and other players.
