@Tuoni Ok so I've said that I was going to restrain from doing this any further but there seems to have been a giant misunderstanding that has never been cleared or addressed by any party period.
I am not arguing for Arboreus to become a PvMer slaughterhouse, not at all. I am just stating my concern with how the uncontested influx of items may unpredictably affect the economy globally.
While yes, more PvP on Arb is a way to fix that, I myself do not support it as it really is intrusive and just plain douchey.
But with Specter dropping info that leads me to think that one won't be able to find any given resource on more then one planet, this concern may be no longer valid.
Let's just please get over it and shake hands/make love/whatever, doing this needless and pointless beef isn't fun for anyone involved.

RE: More than 8 abilities if beastkin, still truth?
@asspirin If you're asking whether beastmen will be able to hotbar over 8 conventional abilities (transformation excluded), then no, I don't believe that would be so.
I am also fairly certain that we're yet to hear any updates regarding that so 8 + 1 that is!

RE: Looting? Pickpocketing? Or Lock picking & Burglary
@Logain I might have phrased it incorrectly.
I am confused on how it will actually work and what effects having medium-rare resources unique to every planet will have on the economy. We have incomplete knowledge and just guessing a lot of stuff so that's why I said that my best bet is to wait for more details from devs ':D
Thanks for the explanation anyway though, it's prime qualityhaha

A little bug with deleted messages
So yeah, that is a small bug, but a bug nontheless. If a message is deleted it still tecnically exists in the profile post history, so a page of posting history can be "empty" (full of deleted posts) and output a "This user hasn't posted anything yet." message when in reality there are still existing posts on further history pages.

RE: PvE Planet with PvP
@Farlander While these guerilla/raid tactics are very demotivating and distasteful towards solo players that are doing not-so-profitable and mundane content, deploying them in GvG or towards solos that are risking a lot of gold or just doing very profitable/important content is very different. This makes bodyguard/merc guilds viable, it makes the items the players are producing more valuable and saught after, this just makes the game more interesting for everyone involved whether they understand it or not. After all if you could kill that cool boss and take it's cool drop safely without any risk, it would a) have huge impact on how the economy works and b) on how much value there is behind your gear not only price-wise.
But yeah, noob smashers are complete and utter turds, we can all agree on that one ;D

RE: Boo! 👻
@Crache I don't understand how you are still not banned, I thought that sensitive or extreme content was against TOS and a bannable offense. I almost died of a heart attack because of this post, Specter get you mod game on point man, can't be sleeping on this kind of stuff smh my head

RE: Week 128 - Weekly Drawing Winners
@Razvan If you're asking whether the numbers on your profile page will go up: then yes, yes they absolutely will. The #1 user on the leaderboard is over 800.

RE: PvE Planet with PvP
Demon planet will be desolate and the players there will be complaining on the forums they have too few players to murder/gank. They will be arguing in the forums to add more open pvp to the other lands.
Actually I think that adding more incentive for nonPKers to be on Tartaros might be good: it will both increase the avg player density and give more things for demons to do in their PvP-free time
This will be very difficult though as ballancing this out will be a nightmare. -
RE: Hello
@Zurilius If you have Alpha 2 access, you won't have to wait long as the next test is literally starting in under 24 hours from now!

RE: Suggestion: Currency names
@egonaraujo This is all dandy but taxes are not fun. Money sinks are way better realized as fast travel cost, price to pass trough a gate to some PvM dungeon or just repair costs for gear. In fact devs have already droppen a lot of info on gold sinks like: housing upkeep costs, town NPC costs, other town upkeep expenses and much more.
So we're good on that part, no need to add an artificial tax to p2p trading -
RE: What I "DO NOT" want to see in this game
@Kralith To be fair i don't think that even a mega alliance will be able to hold each and every city on a planet at the same time, not even speaking of a single guild. Even if we're expecting an insane influx of new player closer to the release time it will be hard to account for the everything and just by nature of these games and communities that tend to form around the bigger ones, we'll have at least two grander opposing parties. The only thing I'm worried about is each continent becoming basically an alliance vs alliance warzone with no space whatsoever for the occasional small standalone guild. This primarily concerns Syndesia and Tartaros as the housing situation on Arboreus is considerably different of course ':\

RE: How will you be making your $$$?
My go-to is definitely an enchanter / travelling merchant.
There's nothing better than to just drop everything, buy some bulk materials and go on a trip to the end of the world along with some buddies, forgetting the burdens of neverending guild wars and battles. Getting to see the faraway lands and meet the locals is something that has always brough joy for me in this kind of games. Exploring all the different communities and their work along with getting some coin for flipping the goods, too romantic to give up.
And enchanting is just a fun mechanic that naturally complements the life of a traveling merchants as they get to hold all the different and rare reagents. Can you imagine how sought after will the top tier gear be when we get more enchantment tiers? And just figuring out the optimal enchanting combinations sounds way too fun -
RE: Skill ceiling
@RodrigoMarquezine I don't see how having a more in-depth fight mechanics would harm the tactical part of any given encounter, I would argue quite the opposite: it would harm one's ability to outmaneuver/outsmart their oppontent by virtually removing the mechanical skill variable and bringing the information horizon way way back. This means two things: you get runescape PvE (which is not very fun: standing still and watching two characters hit eachother is as bad as it gets) and your PvP and mass PvP (as in GvG) now heavily rely on recon and intel. This means either more rats and infiltrators (both in and out of the game, which arguably would make the community more toxic or generally less pleasant); and/or force competitive groups to make their members waste a lot of time spying on their opponents in-game for potentially hours before every individual encounter.
And of course there are arguments for the lower skill ceiling being overall more beneficial to the commuity but I don't really think that the pros outweigh the cons here. Feel free to try to prove me wrong though, I'd be glad to have this discussion.

RE: Cool game but
@Claymore1019 Historically Dynamight have been improving the optimization with every new coming test phase, so I doubt that this trend will stop, and even if it will, I don't think that it will be for long
