Placing chest next to walls is not working

When I try to put down and/or move my chests (basic and large) in the house, I can not place those next to wall, even the color is blue. Now I have chests placed in the middle of the room.

I could place the fireplace to the wall, but not the Chest.
Not even able to move it to the wall.

@Kralith Fireplace I have next to wall too, as also the table and single person bed.
As a side note, it would be nice to have option to rotate furnite in future.

@Tuoni they had rotation earlier, but there was some problems with it aswell.
I would be also glad, if the rotation comes back.
But for now, i think, it is more important that general placing works well.
P.S. Just noticed, you can use W for rotating - just did not found the key yesterday

I do not remember the rotation, but I surely believe there was one. So there is a shortcut key for rotation, but not visible button... odd.

@Tuoni pssst there is even a tooltip, white text, above the Actionbar. I was just blind

I was able to place them edge on, but not lengthways, it does limit the numbers that can be placed, but on a positive note the bed CAN be placed against walls...

I was able to put leatherchest next to the wall, but not the wooden ones.

For placing i just could not place the Wooden Chest on Walls.
All others worked to place there.

Placing next to walls is now possible, but items got now sometimes full menu with move option, somtimes just the holy hand that just cause delete option, or just without move option:

In A2.1.2f:
- placing next to walls is possible
- Objects gets mostly menu at leftclick (need to check all objects, when i am home again.)
- Objects in house you still can not move. There seems to show always the right color, if you move the blueprint to several places, red if blocked, blue if the place is valid. But if you perform placing of Blueprint, it does not move the object to the new place.

Home sweet home, i just checked now at my house, which Objects have the right menu and which not.
My House is at -18' -34'' W 06' -64 NAll items gets the right leftclick menu, except the Workbench that stands directly on the wall and don't get a move symbol in its menu.

Hello,
I didn't want to create another post so I will add my similar experience here.I can't place items on one side of the house, while other sides are working.
It does not matter if it is a workbench or a chest: my left wall is not for building!

@Yheronet If you rotate them, they will fit. At least i did not had any problems to place stuff into the house at walls.
