When is the alpha finishing?

Hopefully so. As with all things, there's a balance to be found, but thieving should be an option.
Last I saw, items on your property can't be destroyed to stolen.

As far as I know since that post nothing has changed and he didn't mention any caveats so it seems "not at all".

It was also mentioned in one of the Q&A video's that people only have access to your belongings on your property if you grant them access through a "house menu" of sorts.
