Stats layout (Alpha 1)
-
As we have to make a choice where to put our stat points directly at creating the character, I thought it would come in handy if more information was available.
I have made an overview of the effects in numbers (positive > 10 and negative < 10) and the modifiers which get affected
It's only a first rough version (obvious work in progress) as some things might change and Demons and Beastman are not available yet.
For those who have not read it yet, I would recommend reading the linked 2 news articles first for a basic outlining of the attributes and what their purpose is regarding skills.

Update: clarification
For example
If you have STR, DEX and CON all 3 at lvl 18, you will get the basic value of STR, DEX and CON (lvl 10) which is 1600. On top of that, you get 800 endurance (the difference between lvl 18 STR en lvl 10 STR)+ 240 from the difference between lvl 18 and lvlv 10 DEX + another 240 for the difference in CON. Makes a total of 2880.
Decreasing the lvl below 10 means you have to withdraw the value. Not all stats seems to add up in an exact matter. This might be due to a cap or because numbers are rounded in the UI.

Oh, very nice @Yitra. I love when other people crunch numbers.
-
GJ on those numbers Yitra.
I've taken the liberty of placing it all on one screen for easier viewing.
Also added general stat info to the table.(open the image in another screen and zoom it in to 100% to not go blind)
-
@Gothix Thanks, I am good with data, presentation is more for the marketing department
-
Looks good @Gothix.
-
Thank you for this.
-
Oh man nice stat visual! I'm printing this out lol.
-
Nice work guys
-
So, I just created a toon with 18 STR, DEX, and CON, and I have the following:
2880 endurance
77760 lifeClearly, adding the endurance and life for each stat from the above chart doesn't match at all, else I'd have this (if I added right):
6080 endurance
103280 lifeIf the numbers for the stats aren't additive, how do they work?
-
OK, did a toon with 18 PER, INT, CHA, for this:
1600 endurance
24000 life
2880 energyMy STR/DEX/CON toon has 1620 energy, btw. Looks like the energy/endurance is swapped between the two, but the STR/DEX/CON toon gets- way- more life.
-
For STR + DEX + CON at lvl 10 you will have 1600 Endurance. On top of that you get 800 extra for STR at lvl 18, 240 for lvl 18 DEX and 240 for lvl 18 CON, makes the total of 2880.
Same goes for Life
-
Ah, got it. One more thing I don't understand: looks like you should get 4% more crit chance at PER 17, and 1% at DEX 11, but with both I'm still seeing a crit chance of 4%.
-
@Roccandil Two possible explanations I can think of are (assumptions as I have no access to the code
- Crit chance is capped at 4%
- The value is a rounded number: For example 3,6 (from PER) + 0,6 (From DEX) makes 4,2 which gives again 4%
I will add an explanation and a disclaimer to the original post.

So, I've discovered that the mage armor bonus stacks with the strength armor bonus. I did a toon with 18 STR and INT, and I'm running around naked with 310 armor. Brown wolves can barely scratch me!
-
@Roccandil Mage armor does not seem to work in a logic way right now. Mage armor gives 230 armor value, but will not go above 250 with extra added value from leather armor pieces. That one is already reported as a possible bug. Cloth armor even adds nothing extra to the 230 from Mage armor.
-
Hmm. I was able to tank and mage-kill a huge spider, while wearing nothing, so the mage armor plus strength bonus seemed impressive, notwithstanding!
Also, the mage armor tooltip says it doesn't stack with armor, so I assumed it wasn't supposed to.
