[bug] unable to Crafting Mage staff shaft

Trying to craft the shaft does not work.

has your city researched better materials than tier1? because i belive the one you're trying is t2 or even t3. If you didn't research that tech, birch wood should work fine

Yeah seems to be the problem. but the problem is also with other items.
Scholar clothings being one. They to gray it out and have "research required"

Yeah it's pretty easy to miss and everybody thinks the stations are bugged.
