Are the housing static blueprints or allow for customization?

Static. The are all preset models.

But I'm surethere will be a lot more blueprint models down the line.
Maybe in an expansion, even an architect profession would be nice.

Just to point out that you can decorate and move things within the house how you like. There will no doubt be cosmetic items for the houses you can buy, which is pretty cool. So a decent amount of customization.
