Stuck on LOADING WORLD

Hi I have had this problem since 4pm. tried multiple times to restart game same issue. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, moved next to router and still same problem. Any help and advise? I suggested this game to 7 friends and they are playing but the main guy isnt kinda sucks...

My brother is able to get in on a toaster. Conclusion: His account works on his laptop not mine. My account works on neither.

I tried to get in 4 separate times yesterday and had the same issue.... tried again just now and same.
Last test, the world often took some time to load so I'm giving it at least 15 minutes per attempt, at different times of day in case its a load issue. Last test, I sometimes had to load two or three times - I'd see toon in game like Bernu and then it would drop back to the character creation page. This test I haven't gotten even that far yet.I'll keep trying & keep posting and hoping. Bernu & grofire, what kind of box/GPU are you using? I'm on a Lenovo ACPIx64-based PC running W10 with an Intel HD4600 graphics card.

@PeachMcD Im on laptop with mx150 core i-5 8th gen 8gb ram. But problem is: my brother has core i-5 4th gen and 4gb ram and no GPU and he loads in. albeit 10fps but still further than me...

@Bernu - my grok of the game is that the devs have specifically sd you don't need a high end box to play. I just don't know where the boundary is. TY for giving spex for devs trying to fix this issue.

I recently joined in because my boyfriend has been playing for a while, he started as a Kickstarter. I haven't gotten further than Loading World. Just bought a new laptop (my old one is 5 years old), w/an Intel I7, I forget the graphics card but my boyfriend said it was a good one. We'll see how this goes, once everything is all loaded!

My account and character works on a toaster laptop tho. Can it be driver uncompaatability? i have the latest but i dont know what else

Like im quite sad. I get its alpha but 7+ of my friends are playing which i recomended the game too and now i cant even play

Good to hear that this isn't (in all probability) a matter of hardware. If people can play with a 'toaster' I should be fine with my 'potato', right?
@Specter / @Prometheus - My m.o. so far is, try to log in 2 or 3 times/day, at intervals. Wait at least 15 minutes before using task manager to end 'Loading World' task. Hope, each time, that a patch will have fixed my problem so I can get started.
Glad this is a long test. I'll keep bumping this every couple of days until success is achieved.
